Purple Trichomes & Timing the harvest time

Today I looked at these pictures of this Purple Diesel plant:

The trichome heads look like they turned purple.

How would I know when to harvest, when the trichomes are not white/clear/amber but purple?

Could the plant be taken down at this point?

How many days into flower? Besides, I can see clear an cloudy heads, as well as burgundy. The PD pheno I have is completely done by day 60. I'm talking no clear heads and nothing but orange pistils...

It's day 47. Im quite surprised how finished they look.

Do they need a bit longer?

Oh and I would like to add, the PD strain on the pic has a very thick stem and grows very slow during veg.

Maybe that will help to compare it

Nice color, call me old skool but I harvest based on pistils more than trichs,
and the overall look of the plant...
About 90% rusty pistils is usually good, 100% and longer for the night meds.

I still check up on trichs but they vary from strain, most hybrids dont produce clear amber for example. Many indicas are done when you see a good % of cloudy.

Depending on how the pistils look I would take them to 60. 47 is way too early even for my fastest flowerer's. Right about now they should have the lasts tufts of white pistils, which should end up orange by day 60. Of course this is assuming we have similar phenos. I would start flushing them now...
