On only a week and a half old veging plant, the plant has turned purple all the way up the stock. Have they been fed too much? If so what do I need to cut back on? Any help would be great

They havent been fed enough bro. Purple indicates that they are lacking nitrogen that would make them more green. Make sure your adding the right ratios at the right PH level ...ALWAYS PH

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought purple stems are caused by lower temperatures which decrease the uptake of phosphorous.

I know I didn't state this at the begining but the plants are not a purple strain. They are Candy Shiva and should not be purple. It isn't the leaves that are purple, it is the stems and stock. I thought that maybe it was because of feeding them to much because they are getting a lot of addatives right now andtheya are also recieving Optimum Hydroponics veg nutes at full strenth accourding to Optimum's feed charts. Addatives are as follow... Hydrozyme, Sub culture, Floralitous bloom, Pro tek silica, Optimum B1, Roots exceloator (house and garden) humic acid. First time I have seen such a full line of nutes being run so I wasn't sure what would cause this. Hope this helps a little more. Peace and Love.

Purple does not mean they are lacking nitrogen.......

Nitrogen is yellow, purple can be phosphorus or pH spotting......
Sometimes cannabis can have a completely purple stem and not be hungry, this is due to strain, but in order to make sure we need to see pictures, because a purple stem can mean phosphorus as well.

Need more information about your grow.

What type of info?
Ph = 5.6-6.2 usually 5.8
Optimum Hydroponics A+B veg full strength for Optimum growth carts for week 2 veg
Hydrozyme full strength
Pro tek silica half strength
Floralitious bloom 1/2 strength
Sub culture 3/4 strength
Roots excelorator (house and Garden) full strength
Optimum b1 Full stregth for Optimum growth carts for week 2 veg
Optimum Humex full stregth for Optimum growth carts for week 2 veg
PPM is around 1000 with all addatives and stays around that ppm even with evaporation. Change nutes every 7 days and is PH balanced before hitting the ebb and flow 3x6 table w/ 70 gal res. Hydroton clay pebbles are the medium and two 600 watt MH lights shine on these ladies. Ladies are Candy Shiva (Norther lights5 x Skunk1)
Thanks for helping, Peace and Love.

If it stays that way, your nutrients are too high, your plants are supposed to remove nutrients and water, not just the water, so your nutrients are too high, flush your system out.
How big are your plants?
Your nutrient solution is going to be the size of the plant, not by directions unless you are using cannabis specific nutrients which you are not.

Well... Today 10 gal of pure water was added to the 70 gal res. Give it a little time and maybe the purple stems will start to disapear. I will report back as soon as some time passes. Anybody else out there have any ideas on what specificly causes he purple stock and stem?
