Purple stems.

Distilled water + peat + too low nute solution pH + no lime in the soil = sick plants.
You can't make a successful soilless mix with peat and no lime, and you can't run distilled water without a mineral replacement supplement. Go get some calmag and run it up to 250ppm before adding the nutes, then adjust your nute solution to a pH that will compensate for the peat in your soil and cause the runoff to be about 6.7.

Also, without correct ventilation, an indoor grow is destined to fail tragically.

I agree with stinky, without micronutrients like calcium your plants can't utilize other nutrients like phosphprus, not only is the acidic soil causing the issue, but low to no calcium levels make it hard for phosphorus and other nutrients absorbed.

I don't agree with the first two posters - it's probably genetic, the stems on my Satoris are always purple and the dates you mention don't tally. It's perfectly feasible for the plants to develop a deficiency after 4 weeks, but it's unlikely to be P and much more likely to be Mg or N, and would have gotten a lot worse if they'd been in those pots another 3 weeks. If you've repotted them into a fresh soil mix a week ago, then that would have cured any deficiency that might have developed. that's assuming your dates are correct.

Also, there's plenty of micro's and trace elements in worm castings and FF Grow to provide a full compliment of required nutrients. Plus, purpling leaf stems is only one sign of a P def, as it progresses it develops others.

The diagnosis of a P deficiency doesn't tally with what you've stated and it's much more likely to be genetic.

You do need to repot your plants regularly in veg though, for two specific reasons 1) to develop a large efficient rootball and 2) to give the plant fresh nutrients, particularly N to feed on, so you don't have to start feeding. A pot up about every 4 weeks is usually enough in veg, two months is a bit too long. N gets washed out of the soil fairly easily with regular waterings and that's why it runs out first and why N deficiencies are usually the first to show in veg when the plant needs feeding.

I digress, I don't think it's a P def and probably genetic, but you ought to watch it in case it shows other symptoms.

Thanks everyone, wish me luck with this plant! It is looking a bit better since repotting it a few days ago. Now Im worried about not having any lime in the mix, unfortunately though when I bought the peat thats all I had to choose from with the exception of buying like 50 little bags of potting soil.
Isnt there a lime spray product I could get to correct the lime issue?

You'd want something equivalent to CalMag. I don't know the product you are referring to, so I'm not sure.

Heres a description of the product. " Fine lime in suspension penetrates easily into the root area and into leaves of permanent plantings. Liquid Lime aids in the uptake of other nutrients, supplies magnesium and calcium and helps raise pH in soil applications. "

I only use that stuff outside.

Can it be used indoors as well because I already ordered it? Also I read somewhere on here that instead I could use epsom salts to stabilize the pH of my peat as well as provide Calcium, Magnesium and sulphur, is that true? I hope one or the other will do because I have no lime in my peat based grow.

liquid lime just sounds like hydrated lime already dissolved with water, it should be fine to use.

Epsom salts don't regulate PH unless something changed

Because it comes with a hose end sprayer bottle, Im assuming it doesnt have directions for how much to add to a gallon of water, so do you know or anyone else know what a good starting amount would be?

Seriously, I'd go get a bottle of calmag and start running that at a 250ppm background. Liquid lime sounds like an outdoor product.
But you assume there's no directions? Have you read the bottle yet? Go do that first...

Im assuming theres no directions regarding how much to mix per gallon of water since its a hose end spray bottle that gives out a preset amount when a garden hose is used with it, also I cant read the directions yet, I havent recieved it yet. I should have asked on here before I ordered it, guess Ill order some calmag just in case now. Calcium raises pH right? If so does it make the medium around pH 7 or can it go higher?

I don't use calmag so I can't speak on it at all, but lime=ph of 7

I bet with the directions on the liquid lime stuff you can figure out a pretty close approximation on how much to use. Course it could be impossible to figure out depending on the label.

Do you happen to know if its easy to over apply lime?

i am having the same problems with purple stems and fan leaves, i first thought it was lock out due to low calcium, so i boosted with some cal mag a couple of days ago, not much of a difference, but my rh is at 29% most of the time , im in 6th week of flower so im pretty far along the way but i believe its a potassium lock out due to low humidity, damn winter weather is killing me
