Purple Skunk punch growing now

Hey guys, got a problem and i had no idea where to post this but since i'm looking for info on strain lineage i thought this forum would be appropriate.

I got a friend in cali that did a cross of Mendo purps x Hindu kush x Sk#1 called Purple SKunk punch that i'm growing in DWC. Most strains i've grown i keep the PPM 900-950 (.5 conversion). Anytime i've gone over 1000 ppm i start to get burn. Anyway veg went fine at 700ppm. Switched to flower using PBP at 900-950ppm. At this level i'm getting some good burn and my opinion is that this strain likes nutes low like Blueberry. My question is:

Has anyone grown Hindu Kush,or Mendo purps or a combo of them and was either of those a low nute likeing plant. I've got experience with SK#1 and know it can handle almost anything you can throw at it.

My skunk that I had seemed nute sensative, but that could be just the pheno I had. It was a fast finishing skunk so i'm sure it was a cross with an afghani or something - it was done in like 52 days. Just thought i'd comment, good luck!

Hey man, hows it going bro? It's been a long time. Just saw this thread and thought I would say hello. The nute sensitivity on that strain is interesting. The mendo purps I had going right next to it showed no signs of over-fert. Same with the HK. But the cross did show itself as a light eater. Always wondered about that myself. But, I am glad things turned out for you. I still have the pic you sent to me. You certainly did my creation justice!
If you want, I have some other things to send your way bro. Hit me up. (Although I am not sure how since I can't do PM's for another 48 posts. lol)
You can always catch me at 420G too bro. I should be around here more frequently as well.
Hope things are going well for you man. Glad to see an old friend.
Cheers
