purple pheno question

Hello all,

Quick Question:

I was lucky enough to get a purple pheno from my white rhino Nirvana seeds, and was wondering if I need to look for any different signs regarding harvest time, such as if the plant having purple buds effects the trichomes changing from clear to cloudy to....?

Also how is the smoke?

Also they (white rhino's and pok kush x White giant) have been in flower for 2 weeks and a day now and they seem to have almost stopped vertically growing under my 400 HPS and the main cola seems to be starting to produce single leafs (on the purple pheno and pok kush)...I thought this was a little early for this to be happening already from passed experiences, but I have never grown these strains....is this typical with these strains...they do seem to budding quite fast...I have the light cycle at 12/12 and my temps stick around 75 during the day and it cools down to about 65 at night, is that too cold?

any feedback is much appreciated

thanks captain, here is a pic, you can barely see the purple since this is as close as I can get with my camera before it starts gettin blurry, this pic is almost a week old and now the leafs are getting a lot more purple and the buds have of course gotten bigger so I'll post an update tomorrow or something....I still have a couple questions in the first part of this post, so if anyone could take a crack at'em I'd greatly appreciate it.

hey "the guy" whats up !from what i have been told is to take a look at the cyrstals and when they turn from clear to foged thats when to start the pik'n .i got a little 60/100 micorscope from radio shack for like 9 bucks not including the aaa bat. it's cool to take a really close up look at your little guys and see whats really going on.i bet if you asked dutch grower or some of the other guys they can give you as better idea than mine.well thats my take on it. i hope it helps ,good luck and as allways

you may wait for others who have grown the strain to reply, i too am very interested in the smoke of white rhino, i'm sure there are smoke reports in the cannabis/hash smoke reports forum of the site, i have yet to pack a bowl and do a search, if anything turns up you can bet i'll be back with a link for ya. have a good tuesday and be well.
