Other than Violetta. have you guys experimented with any other hybrids using your purple Malawi mother plant?

purple malawi x indica in particular?

the smells from the purple malawi are something unique. it was quick for pure sativa at 10-11 weeks and grew with the great malawi branching and structure... potent as well.... though maybe over looked by those searching for the super high THC specimens the malawi is known for?

had a character of its own
a cross with erdpurt might turn out some funky plants!

I'm glad to know that you find the purple Malawi pheno enough interesting
It's not so strong as the green killer malawi phenos, but as you said, the purple pheno has its own interesting qualities, like quite early flowering, more mold resistance, better terpenes in average than green malawis, etc ...

Purple Malawi pheno has great breeding potential as well, our first Purple Malawi x indica cross is Violeta, which has been a great success.

Right now we are pollinating our Purple Malawi mother (Violeta's mother) with purple early flowering Nepal Jam mother (reversed), to produce a purple Malawi x purple Nepal Jam fem hybrid. This should be a nice purple sativa/indica cross.

If you have in mind the Purple Malawi x indica route then i think you can get very nice results by crossing Purple Malawi with a good blueberry male. A cross with ErdPurt sounds interesting as well, thanks for the idea

i did try a blueberry at the same time... might have made that cross had the BB male not throw a couple sneaky female parts. i ditched it (though a different female preformed well and got some panama pollen )

that puple malawi x blueberry project might be something to fallow up on.
what were the males used in the Malawi regular? could one get the purple malawi as a seperate line? and of the puprle malawi progeny, how many show this phenotype?
although id be quite interested in the others too!

Purple Malawi mother was a very rare colorful pheno found in Malawi P2 generation in 2012-2013. I attach some pics of her.

First pic is Purple Malawi growing outdoors, second one Purple Malawi starting to flower outdoors, and third one Purple Malawi seeded.
