Purple Leaves ???

I've got a cross that I have made that produces purple buds. This is only my second run with it and the first time around I nearly killed the plant from other problems, so I haven't gotten to know this strain very well yet.

The fan leaves are starting to turn purple. I made a run through the sick plant guide, but I didn't see any pics of plants with purple leaves. What deficiency could be causing my leaves to turn this color. Or is this something genetic like the purple buds??

Man that looks sexy... Velvet is right about Phos being the cause of the purple.
However, this MIGHT actually be a pheno of that strain. I know when growing Blue Mystic, the leaves/buds turn all kinds of blue/purple.... just brings a tear to my eyes!

However, I would highly recommend checking your nute levels as well as pH (not sure if soil/hydro) as they could be the possible cause.

I'm growing in a basic soil less mix (peat, perlite, castings, & lime). Ph is 6.0-6.5

To be on the safe side I'm going to assume the leaf color is a deficiency while the bud color is from genetics. I gave her a 15ml/gal feeding of PBP about 4 days ago. What could be locking out the Phos?

Temps are controlled by a 6000 btu AC. They stay mid to upper 70's lights on and mid to upper 60's lights off.

The cross I have named purple bastard. Its Rhino x ?___? I had a couple different males when these seeds were made and I don't remember the daddy that was used. Making the name purple bastard pretty fitting. I think subcool makes a PB, but they are obviously not the same.

I really hope it is just a trait, but I'd like to try and cover my bases to make sure it isnt a health problem. With the buds its obvious genetics, but I'm 50/50 on the fan leaves.

Really? Looks like I mentioned that in my previous post. The plants in your thread look good, but like I said, its not subcools Bastard like you have. Thanks for the productive input all the same
