Purple Kush x Super Skunk male

What started as an indoor plant quickly got moved outside because it was male but i wanted to keep some pollen. So i kept him alive..

Went outside today and to my surprise it has started turning purple. Theres even some bright red spots. Like red/purple spots. I checked most of the bud points and sure enough they are all turning purple. I'm very pleased..

Umm, I'm not sure yet.. But i have some ideas...

I have a trainwreck mama clone from Arcata that i wouldn't mind crossing it with. And i also i have some more beans of this stuff growing. Would like to cross it back to itself again to get some more seeds as well. Was just waiting to find that purple male and purple female. I have another male thats turning purple too. Just not as much as this one.. Probably collect from both because they both smell different and look a bit different..

So i got my purple male, just waiting on the purple female.. Got 6 new beans going again... so well see. But I'm definitely going to cross it with trainwreck.. Should be some interesting smoke for sure..

cross it to something mostly thai, trust me kush and thai mix VERY well.

Well, then the trainwreck should work great. That has lowland Thai in it.. Plus its super mega stoney. Crossing those 2 would probably make some excellent smoke... I agree.. Would love to see the trainwreck turn a little purple too. Its already real fluorescent green and yellow. A touch of purple would really make those nugs looks great..

Heres a couple more updated pics of him.. Hes a real lovely plant.. Very skunky/berry smelling and very healthy and green. Quite a thick stalk, squat with tight node intervals and of course... He's purple!

Getting close to dropping some pollen.. Id say in the next week, if not sooner..

Pretty cool find.... that's one of the things which makes it all so fun - the "discoveries" & never knowing what a re-combination of genetics will bring forth. More addictive than crack in my opinion. Maybe "at risk" inner city youth should be forced into after school breeding/genetic classes, innit!

Ha ha! Yeah, i never liked a male plant so much.. Its very strange.. Hes dropping pollen as we speak and I'm just collecting.. Its a real dark purple for sure. Very tight buds too. To be honest, it looks like a female plant. Its super short and stout with a massive stalk for its size. Smells like skunk/coffee now. Used to smell like berries when it was younger.. But all thats changed i guess. I'm just amazed how tight the male flowers are packed together. The other male i had was NOTHING like it.. totally loose flowers that you could see through essentially.. But not this guy. Rock solid!

Ive got a couple cuts of him rooting and i was thinking of grabbing a couple more off the bottom that aren't really filling out.. Ive pollinated a couple trainwreck preflowers with him too. So well see if those turn out.. I hope so.
