Hi Ace Guys.

Big Respekt for your work. I got some seeds named in the title and would love to know what to expect. They are dated to 14/10/15.
Germinated 3 of them. Btw. there were 11 inside the pck. :thank you:!
Will run them indoor. There are very few information about this strain but I love the eye candy you feed us in this forum with your selections and I always wanted to grow some thai genetics! Really looking forward to discover these plants. I never grew pure haze and only smoked a few. My favourite was the Cannalope Haze from the Rokerji in Amsterdam ~9-10 years ago. Very delicious!

Best wishes from Berlin

There's lots of information about growing pure sativas in ICMAg.

You better do some researching now.

Those plants will make you a better grower in the long run if you get them done
right. They are much more harder than pure indicas and take lots more time.

Also, unless you want huge plants don't vegetate them too long or put them in big pots.

Go easy on the nutrients.

i.e. High nitrogen levels with sativas = tall and/or burned plants.

Good Luck

Welcome snuicide,

Thanks for your kind words and for supporting our work.

Haze x Thai hybrids overall need strong light intensity, soft feeding and a long flowering cycle to finish (usually at least 4 months), indoors it's much easier to work with clones than straight from seed, they mature earlier from clones and the flowering time is usually 3 weeks shorter.

I would recommend you to check Terpene's Haze x Thai grow and others here in our room, you will get a good overall idea of how these tropical sativas perform.

Let us know if you have any doubt, best wishes! dubi

I'm growing a few of these outside near the coast in Northern California, I guess I'm taking a bit of a chance on full maturity as they are not in a greenhouse. So depending on the late autumn weather and just how they progress we'll, see what happens.

When the sun is out it is usually strong, but we have cool nights and low cloud/foggy mornings most of the summer. Usually it clears by noon.

The most vexing aspect of these so far is that they are very slow to show their sex. They are about 12 weeks old and two appear to probably be female (no actual white pistols though) and two seem like they will be male but no clearly visible male parts, just tight little curled up leaves the could be precursors to the male flowers emerging. It's tough because my space is limited and the two probable males are in the ground in prime spots and one likely female is getting root bound in a pot. I'd hate to pull a ground one, keep it alive and discover it's actually a female. However they seem very close to showing me definitive signs.

Both my Thai Stick and Golden Tiger plants are slow to show too. Zamaldelicas were much quicker.

Hi musigny23,

Yes, Purple Haze Thai seedlings can take time to show their sex, especially when they are grown from seed in latitudes with long photoperiods in late spring/summer.

Usually the female ratio is very high with the tropical sativas (usually 70 % or higher) and Purple Haze Thai is not an exception.

Please keep us updated, it will be a pleasure to see big Purple Haze Thais finishing this season, the cold nights will produce beautiful colors in the females in flowering.
Best wishes!

This is the male I choosed for breeding. It smells like fresh lemon. Hight is medium and it was producing pollen after 2-3 weeks of 12/12 cycle. It is vigour and roots very good when you take cuttings. I am wondering which influence this is? It also heavy in producing brenches. My 2 females are now in week 6 and just startet to produce flowers. THey look like preflowering plants now. I know that males are earlier and higher as usual but in that case the male is smaller and very early. Am I just lucky? Is this a sign for columbian leaning pheno?

@ snuicide Good job. :good: Your plants are looking healthy. I have several PH x T plants that are entering the flowering stage. One female plant began to flower very early, I will keep that one for sure because that early flowering trait is desirable for my needs. I also have a male that started to flower early. I will make seeds with those two plants, perhaps the early flowering genes will transfer to the seeds.
