After that pics last friday, heads began to swell and become covered with resin so strongly that the branches have to fold up.

That girl love PK and do not hate Nitrate at all. that a good thing for an half haze !

while the first flowers ripen, a second flower wave output.

I'm going to let ripen one month since I still pollinated few new flowers from those pictures (new batch with SSSDH x Space Queen).

on 3 females during flowering, it is best developped, fastest to mature and produces the most beautiful heads (good yield).

I don't try the high on the way but I tried immature bud from his purple sister and yes that what I'm searching...flying for a long ride on a purple dragon

probably next week. I want to let her for few weeks for the best trichome carpet ( a lot of small trichomes).

Hi mukuku,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Purple Haze x Malawi F1 hybrid. We produced a very limited stock of the standard version past year (that is already out of stock), i'm glad to see you are growing it.

The Purple Haze Malawi plant that you are posting looks more on the malawi side regarding structure, stem thickness and flowering traits. How are the aromas at this time ? She is producing her last re flowering and still can increase a lot her potency, resin production and yield in the upcoming 3-4 weeks.

I'm also curious to see the other 2 females. Kind regards!

hi dubi,

in fact the from 4 seeds I have sawn I still have 3 females (cuts) and the male (in regrowth).

the other 2 females are thinner and are purple when ripe.

I tasted the 3 herbs before they are ripe and sometimes makes the microwave. What I can say is that the high is very lightweight, which does not mean it's weak but you feel so light that you float a little bit. The high lasts very long and is really the clearest I've ever smoked. very functional and good feeling of well being. One pheno purple gave me sensation out of body like. zero stone, zero nervous feeling or uncomfortable sensation.

not a strong killer but more light sparkling bubbles that float in your head

champagne !

As usual the cold, change of spectrum and Temp 12/12 and light leaks of the day (dominant blue spectrum) made their exit in bananas:

strain # 1 (greenpheno pic): 10 max bananas
strain # 2 purple pheno: 20-30 Bananas
strain # 3 purple pheno 50-80 bananas

bananas are not problem with me. It can be manageable with cares and when you are a sativa lover you know why you don't cry to get big fat 50 days resin bomb even if I love some sometime.

at same time I've got bananas with many others hybrids but no one show so much.
I think the more prevalent factor was cold ! around 5°C/15°C (night/day) in growth and more than 20°C in flo all the time (I heated the room in winter at the start).

I've got a cut of each one and will flo them in juin/july to september. I'll can test the banana sensibility and report for you.

I would put pictures in a few days.

Thanks for the info mukuku,

It will be interesting to know if the bananas were induced due enviromental stress.
Purple Haze x Malawi has been tested mainly outdoors, and it has always been firm here.

I'm glad you are enjoying the finished product ;) I also enjoy a lot the very clear, well focused long lasting effects that can be easily found in this F1 hybrid.

Best wishes for the next round!

four beans popped : 3 females + 1 male

I've work with zamal 100% (personnal import from "zoreil les haut" in 2006) and the ratio was around 8 females/2 male for ten beans. it 's seems like malawi has the same ratio. never saw that ratio with dutch haze (neville haze, mango haze, titan haze, hawaïan snow ).

I have cut the top of the plants. 120 days is a limit for me.

I made pics before harvest but can't show for the moment (acces limited to a pc)

Hi fboy,

High female ratios are very common in these kind of tropical sativa lines, usually over 70-80 % female ratio in regular/standard seeds.

hello all,

no time for more...only to say that the high is terrific ! totally paranoid ! my cats were making conspirationy against me...etc.

@dubi : I'm sure the banana flowers came by very cold temperature in the growing stage. she is tropical strain not for medium and low temp.
