purple haze vs green haze, thaisiates

ok so i realize that there have already been a few mentions discussing between the two but lets make things clear. what does smoking purple haze or PHT do compared to smoking green haze or green haze thai?

thanks guys i have some double thai, thai stick, zamaladelica, golden tiger f1 and purple haze f1 im tryin to get the best idea in my mind of these guys as im really only still figuring out the grow scene n hoping for a better situation in terms of being able to grow outdoors.

im kinda interested as a bloke named dr. purpler told just, when talking about aces gear, 'the green haze thai has the big potent nugs', well not exact but that was basically his response when talkin bout a few strains i had from ace, i just couldnt turn down being offered one of the older purplehaze thais tho as a freebee as i had no purple in my collection so this was my chance to lash out (on a freebee) an have that purple'something' in my collection.

Green Haze & Purple Haze from Ace are selections from the same line - Old Timer's Haze.

Ace has crossed them to their Meao Thai for speed and yield - from what I've seen that Thai has reduced the flowering time by 2-4 weeks. Yield increases a bit, though they are medium to low even with the boost.

In terms of potency, the Green Haze is more potent and the Purple more psychedelic. I would compare the green haze to smoking caffeine and purple haze is more dopey - though hardly mellow, more in your head, less energetic than the Green Haze.

If you're looking for easy to grow and robust, pick either the Green Haze Thai or Purple Haze Thai. They are far more forgiving and much quicker (16 week ish) than the pure hazes (20 week ish).

As for "big potent nugs" here's a shot of my Green Haze Thai under a 240w LED at about 14 weeks to give you an idea.

I wouldnt consider one pheno (green or purple) stronger than the other, depends on concrete individuals of higher potency, potency trait is not much related to color phenotype in this case/line but to different terpenes and pigmentation.
