Hello Dubi :)

No problem for me, I just edited because, as usual, I discovered it was a waste of time after I took the time to write something.

I must :bashhead: myself again to lose again some of my time with such people

As for the Purple Haze, apart from the pheno of the OT1 Haze, there are other sources that I heard both coming from Brazil and from Australia. In these cases, they are crosses between haze and an indica strain, not pure sativas, but they have other advantages -> see this pic from 20'Thai

According to 20'Thai, this one is a cross : "between an original BrosGrimm 70's PurpleHaze male dusted onto a non-dominant purple Afghani Indica that I had back then, and it was the only afghani I had for almost the first 20 years of growing in Ozz till the influx of the Amy afghani genepools in the last 15 years here. I kept the father alive in clone and kept dusting successive generations of the offspring of the F1 PHIndica till the Afghani in it was almost none existent. So what it produced was a near true BrosGrimm PurpleHaze which finished in under 80days."

As for Mexican strains, we have in the collective some old seeds to work soon: Guerrero gold 1976, Oaxaca '79 but both are very old and so we don't know how much will sprout. And I believe someone in the crew is growing soon an Oaxaca highland 1978 coming from a member of various forums (including here) that looks a little bit indica at the start, but they say it is usual with Mexican strain.

Acapulco gold F2 seeds from Dr Gt, gently gifted by Zamalito to the collective, should be reproduced soon, although they are of more recent origin according to first hand information. As long as they will be done, they will be available for free for whoever asks, given the insurance that the grower will reproduce them and share them again.

the lima limon I've never personally smoked.

just talking to people the way I do about where they are from and the weed they smoke. a few times I was talking to mexicans about good weed and they had brought up the strain "lima limon" which as best I know does mean lemon lime.

I don't know too much else about it other than that it probably originated somewhere outside mexico city. but I really don't even know that. but when they talked about it their face would light up.

I've see nthat with mexiocan bagseed collected in Cancun,2005. The brick it came from was definitely pure sativa, incredibly heart-pounding, racing high with extreme paranoia and hallucinations, I swear I thought a alligator was stalking me and I smoke sativas all day every day! Sadly only one out of 30 germed and he was a male, but looked very indica until he started flowering then he suddenly stretched and threw out thin leaves.

I still have about 30 more of these beans, should try germing them soon and pray for a female. Wish I had both male and female to preserve the line as I'd love to smoke it again. I attribute the really dark colour in veg to being grown under fluoros.

Yeah, a smallish 7-8 foot one appeared earlier in the evening while we were eating on the deck outside the restaurant at our hotel, the deck was build onto the lagoon and he was just sat there about 6 feet from the deck. Then some racoons turned up begging for tidbits, one jumped on our table and I poked it violently with a fork, while explaining to the two Dutch girls we were sharing our table with that they probably had rabies and might look cute but you don't want a dose of something from a wild animal in a foreign country.

Got very very high on a couple of joints after eating and sat up half the night cos my room was on the ground floor and I was worried as there were large glass patio doors forming one wall and the lock was rubbish.

I remember being stood on the balcony of the Dutch girl's room and my friend was calling up to me from the ground, he said 'there's a guy down there with a little pipe for sale' or something like that and I heard something like 'there's some guys down there said he smelled ganja and was calling the police'. Wierd aural hallucinations, several times folks said one thing and I heard another. Had very visual effects too, streamers on lights, wierd perspectives, mirage and liquid surfaces effects, all very strange and interesting, at the time I thought it was the wrong place to be so high and paranoid, if I'd been somewhere else where I felt safer it would have been awesome. Actually, it was awesome if a little terrifying too.

some folks should just shut up and learn!

Zam and HHF have my most complete and full support!

the folks who are in a pissing match about preservation are being silly... quit fucking hating on yer brothers in arms.....
Yall heard the old adage: divide and conqure?!
well whaddabout: combine and fight!

soon, Zam will have my prized "sunshine".. of course I will still work it as a HTC signature line... but zam has the knowledge to back things up, and work them for what they are.. I could do nothing more benneficial to sunshine, and our community, than to share it with such an able and willing cultivator.
I am not the only one to feel this way.

as for zam of HHF documenting pics of grows...lol... so what..
I have dozens upon dozens of gens of various lines undocumented. they were listed, sold out, listed, sold out... and they lived true to what was advertised.
Show an example of Zam or HHF doing otherwise........ than comment.

I hope we can have more "come together" aura, and less who's dick is the biggest...

Peace , and good grows on everyone in this thread.
bub.

right on Raco, I too know Dubi, and have enjoyed our conversation.

I hope yer getting my point, and not missing it.
The last thing Im trying to do, is turn this into a pissing match... none of us should be.

its about cannabis... not ego's, pride, or who's got what..

each of us help to dictate what the next gen of growers will have available to them.

Peace, bub.

I wish we are all clever on this and stop turning thread any more into personal which is not worth at all at the end. In the meantime there is a lot to be done. We all do mistakes. I can only hope to learn from them and be positive.

Hope it helps to talk about plants and genetics

My repects to everybody here and much love to the ones who help us to improve ourselves so we can do better in our jobs. Its not a question of egos but we latins are very passionated on our believes :muahaha:

Is needed good Bacchus :)

I think Zamalito and Dubi are a great asset for our future and I will love to see them well together. Both know my thoughts on this. It will be great for all if once in future they both could work together.

In the picture a mexican Verde Limon mentionated also by Raco, a very uniform and well know fast mexican line. Not overpowering but one the mexicans they can still recognize widely there. Smell to lemons and maybe is the same line above mentioned as Lima Limón. Got in early 90's from Jalisco but not info about his ancestors
