I believe in a constant feed from a good healthy soil is much better and less harsh than blasting them with strong nutes

I've started doing that with some plants to compare how much yield I get and there really isn't a big difference...the leaves fade a little more towards the end of flowering but that's about it. The buds don't seem smaller or anything...
