purp preservation

This is a really great cut of some type of purp, the potency is amazing. FLowers FAST too, zero stretch, and light on nutes. The shop is going to have to be shut down for some time unfortunately.. but am looking for ways to preserve this without having to keep a mom? Is there any way one can generate seeds? Is using hermie plants bad? What are my options and how can i go about doing this? thanks

u could use hormones and force a cutting of it to go male and then breed that with another clone... they call it selfing i believe

BY hormones do you mean silver nitrate or w/e that shit is? or somethign else? i read that a long time ago but dont remember anything.
selfing eh.. what do ppl say about it? is it bad for genetics? instable? or is it a solid way of maintaining genes in seed form? more info apprecaited

keep a clone under your sink light. take a cut from it when it gets too big, then replace that cut with the new one. the plants grow slow under low light.

Scrappy- I dont have any pics right now, she's a slow vegger compared to most strains [except for purple strains, she's quicker than most purple strains i've seen, though thats only the purps and gdp]. real squat, throws sidebranching everywhere. once you flip, she stretches like 2-3 inches max, and thats for a decent sized vegged plant. SOG would suit her best imo
Zombo and Morgan- Very true, unfortunately I don't know many growers in person and being how things Nazi-ish things currently are... both of you should post a lil more especially considering you've been here for over a year
Greenlion- Unfortunately thats not an option for me, I cant have anything cultivation related with me let alone the damn weeds. only seeds really which are tiny.
