Yesterday I tried some pure og out of a bong
which is (pure kush x og kush)=pure og (elite clone)

visual id give it an 8.5-9

smell-5

flavor- 9 ( it has a pleasant flavor that is not strong BUT this stuff smokes soo incredibly smooth some of the smoothest iv ever had.. i think they shoulda called it silk!)

wow this stuff is medicinal... It is so clear in the head, all the cognitive functions are intact on this one. The Body high on this is very relaxing and is prominent in the chest but flows to the rest of the body in a very relaxing way it is quite euphoric as well and meditative. A profound sense of wellbeing and relief is felt on these meds. It inspired a yoga/ joint mobility session for me and was extremely theraputic and anti-anxiety. It possesses all these things while being very potent as well the high posses a character of extreme depth and complexity it will leave no doubt in anyones mind that this stuff is top shelf AAA connosuir quality.

If I got stuck on a desert island with three strains this would be one of them

indeed i think this particular cut would be right up your ally.

to confuse things even more there is like 20+ varients of OGkush and there is "la pure kush" and just "pure kush" which are 2 different cuts. so what this batch really is is up in the air... but damn was it incredible. Pure medicine is what it was.

I've heard from some of the top people around here that the best herb they smoked in cali was Pure OG Kush. I've also had LA Con which was LA Affie x Afghani (beautiful smoke).

I've been dying for a cut of some Pure OG Kush and some Pre 98 Bubba Kush.. Hehe, someday.

Pure OG sounds like a great mix... but does it lose something with the Pure being so indica-ish and the OG being so sativa-ish???

ya i have some og kush at least thats what they were labeled. I got mine from elite seed genetics before he went to prison. These are supposedly an s1 cross. I started 4 beans and will chop 2 this week and 2 next i imagine. The dont look kush like to me nor like any of the og crosses I have gotten from cali connection. mine smells like bubblegum and has long spear shaped buds with a more sativa leaning leaf. medleaf

The real SFV OG Kush is actually a Chem 91 S1. Also Bubba Kush is Chem D x (Something) I forgot what it was crossed to. Many of the top strains including Sour Diesel come from the Chemdawg lineage.

You might be lucky and have a real Chem 91 pheno showing through, it is much more sativa than SFV OG Kush, which has a strong indica presence.

yeah in cali there are like i said >20 og kush varients=(crosses and s1s) and the the high type on many of them are quite different. the "pure og" was different from every other og i have tried in smell looks and high, though I could detect an up og element to it. I suspect og kush is like hazes are in amsterdam.
What strains like og kush and bubba kush actually are is up for debate but I doubt pre 98 bubba kush has anything to do with chemdawg. Chemdawg and the white are not considered as elite as the og kushs are in california. Og kush and its varients reign supreme here in cali.

One of the members of ChemFamily told me that pre 98 bubba was a Chem D cross, I can't remember what it was with I'll have to ask my friend. But if you read the Bubba forums so many people get that Chemdawg/Coffee taste as well. I'll have to follow up on that info and get back to you.

Yes OG's are amazing, the SFV is an S1 of Chem 91, I know that for certain, but has a much better flavor arrangement than Chem 91 or Chem D alone. Here are some of the other OG's, they are all supposed to be a little different:


-Tahoe= cut brought into the community by Swerve. The grower that Swerve got it from had sourced the cut in the Lake Tahoe area in the 90's.

-Larry= The Orange County Larry cut that is available in the medical scene came from the same Orange County crew that the H.A O.G Kush came from

-SFV= There are a million O.G cuts grown in the S.F.V, however the cut that goes by this name on these forums and in medical disp. came from Swerve

-Ghost= This cut came from ORGNKID, ORGNKID had sold a O.G cut to a Overgrow forum member named "Ghost" who further distributed the cut.

-Tripple OG= This cut came from ORGNKID. This cut is A.K.A Triple X/XXX O.G Kush. Triple O.G was popularly sold to medical patients by the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.

-Abusive= This cut was brought into the community by an overgrow member named "Abusive", believe it or not Abusive claimed to have got the cut through the rapper Snoop Dogg.

-SAC#2= Cut brought into the scene by forum member O.Gkushman, O.Gkushman got the cut from DJ Muggs.

-P.R OG A.K.A Private Reserve O.G= Another O.G cut that ORGNKID brought into the scene. The cut was sold to Med patients as Private Reserve O.G through the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.

-Apothecary = O.G cut brought into the scene by the apothecary seed co's Brett. Brett got it from a high profile Medical MJ activist in L.A back in 1999

-Diablo= This = cut came from the R.D.C disp. In the San Fernando Valley

-Rask-al's OG (AKA Fire OG) = Another cut sourced in the San Fernando Valley. Cut was bought for several thousand dollars from ******* ***** members by a friends of OG******

-Hell's Angels OG= Cut came from an commercial H.A room in Orange County, grown by the same crew that brought the Orange County Larry cut into the medical Disp.

-Poison OG=Cut came from O.Gkushman, he grew it from seed found in a pound of O.G back in ‘96

-SAC#1 & #3= #1 came from G-Thumb in the San Fernando Valley, #3 came from San Fernando Valley but is very popular in Santa Barbara and sometimes goes by the name “Purple O.G Kush”, the cut was brought into the scene by the owner of the now defunct Hortipharm in Santa Barbara

I love OG. I wanna try a Chem 91 x SFV OG cross. That would be amazing. Hopefully Cali Connections new Deadheads don't autoflower like crazy. I got like 10 packs of Cali Connects gear with the dreaded F4? male.

It´s funny how some go nuts with these "elite" cuts...... reminds me a little of them american highshool movies where everybody wants to be in the "popular" gang. I guess im one of the nerds then...... having to settle for " regular" cannabis and finding my own phenos ;-)

For real, no doubt. It's very difficult to keep up with the OGs. I can't keep them straight. I was thinking I had tried Pure OG so I joined the thread but now I realize what I had was True OG.

yeah another thing about many of these "elite" cuts is the ones you might think are hard to get are the ones that are easy. I can easily aqcuire in one weekend 15+ different ogkush varients, including all the well known ones, The white, pre 989 bubba, lvpk, dabney blue, djs mother clones, joe shmoes casey jones cut, sr71 purple kush, urkle, gdp, chem dawg d, chem 4, chems sister + a huge list of other "elites" in one weekend.... so dont be fooled by thinking that these"elite" cuts that the icmag community knows about are being hoarded and only a select few in cali have access like some seedmakers would have you believe... its just not true. Anyone with a rec, a car, time, and money can have all the chems, whites and well known ogs easily.

whats rare is strawberry cough its like gone. For all the hype satori gets on here no ones ever heard of it in the cali med scene. And of course some places will have fake cuts but their are places that can be trusted to be real deal.

With access to clones like these its not too hard to be an "elite breeder" when in reality just like most seedmakers ur crossing 1 male to regional elite clones. Its working a line or starting from land races that is real breeding.

Ice toker: its digging through seeds like you do that "elites" are discovered I imagine its very rewarding to find keepers.
