Excellent contribution to that strain. Your outstanding crosses prove your willingness to take that wonder to the next level.
I would formally like to ask you to Post a Smoke Report in the Cannabis/Hash Smoke report forums and perhaps make them available to the community through Seedbay. Remarkable work!
Very nice as always MDanzig. I've got some Lowryder beans from a friend that I REALLY will start soon. I was going to do them outdoors, but once it got so late in the season, it seemed like kind of a waste to put this autoflowering strain out in less than 16 hours light.
Within the next 2 weeks, I'll be re-tooling my growroom, and starting a bunch of seeds. Aside from some of the best seeds from some of our well known breeders, I'll start some Lowryders(and crosses) This'll give me a harvest when all my other ones are still vegging(and on the same light schedule-NICE!)
Nice work Dnzg. I love this genepool. I have a short fat Sat. that needs some LR pollen. I need seeds. Oseeds is defunct and I dont want to add to Marcs coffers( he's got enough). Where can I get the best Genes. Hmmmmm?
Hey wat was the yeild on that baby? And how long from start to finish? I really gotta get my shit together and find some LR beans, they're just too cool.
lowryder is a 10 weeks strain....that's 10 weeks from seed to harvest!!!!! it's an autoflowering strain that will flower under 24 hours of light.....I always assumed you couldn't yield so much...that is untill I saw a 93 gram lowryder plant!!!
I agree, as with any MJ strain it all matters on grow conditions, and how good a grower you are. This Lowryder is maybe a bit lower in quality, but I believe as time goes on it will continue to get better, and better. Im working on a lowryder Hybrid thats auto-flowering, but bigger in yield. Im actually looking for a tester or two, that has the room to grow at 18/6, or 24/0, until the plant is done.
Sammycrack: As we speak that plant is drying. I will post the dry weight, and do a smoke reoprt when its ready.
i don't understand why someone would want to grow this strain.
1. The seeds are so over priced it's not even funny.
2. You can't clone them according to dr chronic.
3. They say most are feminized therefore it will be hard to get a male to breed.
Who would want to wait 2 months to yield a half ounce? I don't know...i just see a lot of newbies getting sucked into this lowryder craze, just wish they had a clue.
First off your completely wrong. Im not quite sure where your getting your info from, but there is many people yielding much more than a half ounce. Try 98 gram, and 55 gram dry weight bud. Seeds can now be bought for $40.00, or less, and as far as feminized, I havent heard of not being able to have plenty of Males. lowryder is NOT Feminized. I have no problem making 100's, even 1000's of more seeds. Typical negative poke in the eye.
P.S. Blow, I also remember you trolling me on OG about the same complaints. I thought I wouldnt be seeing that when I came over here, expecially from you. No offense, but you need to back up your statements.
nice looking buds....they talk so much smack over at M E about low rider that youd think he invented it ...... if ME is in jail he may not be smoking any lowrider for a while ....a picture is worth a 1000 words...PEACE
I would love to test some of these for you. Thats really cool, I've never seen them before. I am currently growing some bmxlui (Blue Moonshine x Legends Ultimate Indica) that JLP sent me (I bred these seeds myself from ones he sent me, from my two best plants). I have plenty of extra room to experiment with these and if you have any extra pollen still, I may try doing a cross of bmxlui and lowrider and see what happens. I'll send you some of the seeds and keep you updated on how things are going. Let me know... I am definitely interested in working with lowriders.
Excellent looking Lowryder flowers! Were they grown outside or inside? I grew a few Lowryders outside this summer, but got only a few finger-sized flowers. But that's not a big surprise, considering this was the worst summer I can remember for 25 years. Rain, rain and more rain. And only a few sunny days when temperature was over 20 C .
I planted five seeds, four germinated and I got two females and two males. It seems I will get at least a few seeds (I let them pollinate themselves) for a new try in next summer. But certainly not 100s or 1000s because it was raining almost constantly when the males were shedding their pollen.
