Pump Recommendations

Hey all, looking for a pump that I can drop into a 90 gal res for hand watering. Currently, I use a little giant utility pump that goes into a 100 ft hose out of a dramm wand. My pump is just slightly lacking and was looking to upgrade.

After searching the forums and google, I have seen suggestions of shurflos and mag-drives but the ones I see wouldn't exactly get everything at the bottom of my drum. I also read some people saying that the magnetic drives and oil motors can kill benes?

Just looking for some advice, input and recommendations. Thanks in advance!

is this a high solids mixture or what?

it makes a huge difference, when you are trying to pump the equivalent of muddy water, you really need a pump able to deal with solids.

cheap diaphragm pumps make excellent wand/sprayer/hose pumps, but usually are not rated for solids. they have check valves and poppets and all sorts of shit that could foul.
there are diaphragm pumps designed for huge solids loads, but these are generally more expensive, much larger pumps. meant for transfer applications or pumping out trash water or something like that. honda used to make a cool

centrifugal pumps will probably kill SOME microbs, but a very very small amount... what ever microbs are smashed or killed will just become food for more microbs.

gear pumps( hydraulic/oil pumps) probably will kill more microbes, but also do not tolerate solids.

a sump pump might be best here.

Sorry for not clarifying; I just use 2 part GH Coco. I experiment w/ some bene's at time but anything that goes into my res is thin. I'm more or less looking for something powerful enough to transfer through a 100 ft hose and also something that grabs just about every last drop in the res, or at least close to. Thanks
