Yesterday, I realized that the air pump feeding one of my plants had failed at some point. I know that it couldn't have been off for more than one day, because I checked, but I don't know exactly how long the roots were without oxygen. When I opened up the growroom last night, with only 15 minutes of the light cycle left, I realized this, fiddled with the pump, and got it running again. The room had a strange smell to it, I can't place it or diagnose it, but it must be from the water being stagnant. Hopefully it's not root rot, but the smell has gone now that the pump has been running for about 12 hours or so. The roots look ok, not brown/dark or soft or anything, just a little more slimy than usual and the water is sort of bubbly. My question to you all is... what do I do? Should I change the nutes out to make sure the water the plant is sitting in is clean? Add some H2O2 to kill any bacteria that might have grown? I'd love to see this plant stay alive, it's only a few weeks from chop chop. Give me some advice, please! Thanks ahead of time
