Pull fans and inner buds under canopy that don't get light?

Hello all. I was wondering all the lower growth under the canopy specially the big fans that don't get any light. Is it best to strip it off? I don't see why not if its not getting light then its wasting energy towards your tops right?

Yes and No. I would pull the small buds on the inside at the bottom off, they never amount to anything. If you have fan leaves at the bottom that are green I would leave them on. They are energy producers and you could try getting some more light on those fan leaves by adding a light mover to your light
