Aloha,

an update on my Super Sweet Skunk Haze ladies this Summer in paradise.

That three foot Cola is just gonna fatten up to rock hard club-like proportions and will, in my humble prior expertise with this breed, yield about 100 grams of Hawaiian-sweet, skunky haze.

There will be finished shots in about a month.

<< i learn something new every day... and thanks for the clarification..

its been some time since last i was able to visit the islands and my memory fades.. i used to be better versed in your terminology and knew a little, almost enough to throw it in every once and a while :D

do you happen to have any pictures of the strains native to the islands...

i dont know them all but along the lines of kona gold.. or moui wowwie... ?

anyways im always interested in local genetics to areas.. something unique to me is always much enjoyed.

Excellent growing and hope to see more of your pictures to come.

Yo Dude

Wasss Up?

Yeah these girls got leafy.

It is weird here in Hawaii

A plant from Hawaii can flower mid summer.

Yeah that's right, 13.5 hours of daylight and buds.

I've written about it before.

That and the sweet sweet tropical smells are what makes our indicas and sativas world renowned breeding stock.

Anyway this girls mother was straight from Soma.

It has about 60% dutch genetic pull, and when the days got really long last month, they started throwin leaf.

after the solstice, things passed the magic line of length of day and the ladies are now fattening up nice.

I have had this problem a few times before, and the resulting plants went stright to the hash bags, but these had enough Hawaiian genetics to pull through and even the August daylength is now not a problem.

I even think the stretch did em good and they will be now even fatter and heavier.

cost of paradise is wholly dependent on your tastes, eat the fish and fruit for free and live on te beach or buy an oceanfront estate for 20 million. somewhere in between we still get the $1,500 studio flats.

think Manhattan or SF, but with surf and 75-88 degrees every freekin day.

Aloha.

Nice colas HawaiianGrown! Looking forward to the finished shots. I had two Molokai Frost but down to one. The other was male. I love Hawaiian herb, it reminds me of the Islands every chance I get to grow and smoke it. Any problem with mold since those are fat colas?

no mold

no mold

Aloha Harry

No, No mold, even though I'm technically in a rain forrest.

I try to not keep genetics that are weak or bug or mold enticing or not easy or whatever. I am way selective. I, if growing seed, only keep about two out of thirty seedlings, and only about two outa ten keepers stay in my line-up.

I also believe that variety is the herb of life.

And even though I clone often, all good and great plants begin with a seed.

"Clones only" are only for those unnamed commercial growers and the bored.

The next great strain is only one seed away.

See Ya

Oh Yeah, updated nuggier shots come tomorrow
