Psicodelicia and Sweet Amnesia Haze grow

Hello to everyone

Sprouted some seeds after receiving them from the 6th Sweet Seeds Grow Diary Competition

They will be grown in soil, have not decide yet on lights.

They will be grown in a spacey 1.2x1.2m tent

Will not overgrow/maximize the grow space with big plants. So it will be kinda low yield this run.
Will switch to flowering soon.


8/8 germinated fast, only 1 Psicodelicia is lacking behind


Right now at 1lt pots, no nutes yet.
18w light, screw in led, will be moved to bigger light the next days

Quick update, moved them under 100w LED few days ago.
They got a bit underwatered and hungry but back on track now

Quick update, had to cut off 2 plants, did choose the ''worse'' looking one of each strain.

Another 100w hlg turned on, now we are at 200w.

Topped them 2 times (one time after photo taken)

Days pass and still haven't figure out what light to use for flowering.

Im between adding 1x260w hlg quantum board so they get total ~460w of LED , OR put a nice digital 600w hps... hard decision

I know the results from the HPS will be better, but grow is remote, literally I am never there, in case something catches fire or goes wrong.
The LEDs for some reason ''feel'' more safe to leave them running without being there.

15 years never had a single problem with HPS, so don't know... i might just get too paranoid about it... or too old

Any input will be welcome!

Finally everything is set and ready to roll

Pulled the trigger and got 1x240w HLG quantum board Rspec to help the 2x HLG 100w 3000k ones.
So now there are total ~440w

Transplanted from 7lt to 11lt their final pots. Should choose 14lt i believe would be better.

Chopped and cleaned few of the lower branches and nodes, might have to do a second run ; )

Thinking if i should put a scrog net or not, just to help wide them up a bit...


Last watering I did feed them with 2ml/lt BioBizz Grow and 1ml/lt Biobizz Bloom.


I think they got a bit hungry and for sure one more time under-watered, caught it in time not too late...

What strains you will run for the contest?
I will participate next run with dwc i think ; ) Have in my mind a plant timelapse project, but have to find an action camera or something that will do the trick on a very tight budget.


Week 1 quick update

Cleaned a lot of side branches, nodes from the plants. They was getting out of control like last run. They wasn't going to get any decent light.


They really got into flowering fast, buds already start forming.

Last feed was
1ml/lt Biobizz grow
2ml/lt Bloom
1ml/lt TopMax
Feeding every other watering with nutes

Day 10 today

discovered the new HLG light was dimmed on during night cycle. ~9 days now ... i hope they won't hermie...

Timer didn't turn off completely, because of miss wiring on the house. (reverse polarity)

Fixed it now...

Heres hoping it all goes well Crowmax as 9 days may or may not have turned the Psicodelicia as you say it does look a bit hermie suspicious. Keep a very close eye on her and the others. and with a bit of good luck hopefully everything goes the way you want it too m8.. i will be watching for sure apart from that it all looks well.

I believe that at the moment there is no concern about hermie.

But as always it is good to have the plants under supervision.

Day 16 Flowering

Its nice to see how fast they started bloom compared to previous run.

Sweet smells and trichomes started popping too, on every plant.

It's a bit hard to keep up with watering and feeding times for two strains. Psicodelicia is getting a bit hungry and a bit overwatered i believe.

Forgot to mention we have a ''guest star'' in flowering room, a Red mandarine clone from my previous run, got into flowering 3-4 days ago.
Will flower her in 6lt lt pot, just to see if the clone is still in good condition.
Might do a ''single plant'' dwc grow next, with the same clone.
Someone with good eye might spot her in the photos : D
