if someone trying to breakin into your house while your there can you leagally shoot at them? even if there not in the house yet but outside the window or still on your property?
srk said:If I were you I wouldn't shoot at them. Anyone that hears someone rack the slide of a 12 gauge and keeps coming is nuts and your in for a fight to the death. I have a friend that had someone sneaking through his yard in full camo fatigue. My friend was pointing a hand gun at him, the guy didn't show any respect and was trying to walk away. My friend was on the phone with the cops and they said it would take them an hour to get there. While still on the phone with 911 he fired his gun in the air and said shots fired get the F*** out here, the intruder froze and the cops got there in 5 minutes. My friend didn't get in any trouble. This was in cali.

definition:
throw down - noun. a weapon from the streets (not registered to u) that is loaded and wiped down (free of prints) so that if u happen to incapacitate someone in your home who is unarmed you can remedy the situation before law arrives.
