Prolonging Clones in Veg or Cloning Clones?????

How long could you keep Clones in Veg? If you keep trimming and topping them so they don’t get too big?? Like could you do this for 4 or 5 months???

Just curious and wondered if anyone has ever tried to this long..

And if not, can you clone clones???? Say after the clone is 4 or 5 weeks old and still in Veg, clone it and start a fresh clone if the original clone is about to die or cant stay in Veg for very long? And repeat this process if need be???

Reason being is if I wanted to keep a perpetual grow but only want to Flower and harvest like 2 times a year instead of 4..

You could keep trimming and topping them for YEARS and they'll stay in veg unless they have some auto-flower tendencies in their genes.

Yes. All of the plants that I am currently growing are clones of clones of clones of a seed plant that i grew out 3+ years ago.

Keep enough "mother" plants to give you the # of cuts you will need twice a year. As long as you keep them under 18/6 or 24/0 lighting and keep feeding them, they'll be fine.

Perpetual growing usually refers to people who are harvesting "perpetually" by constantly adding new plants as older plants are harvested.

you can veg any non auto flower strain for as long as you want but you have to have enough root space or you can do a bonsai mom and wait until they get rootbound and then shave off some roots and repot with fresh soil. You can also clone clones as many times as you want with out adverse effects. So just do which ever is easier
