Processing/extracting THC from vegetative leaves???

Hi all,

I have a pretty long vege ahead of me, and I'll have a steady supply of vege leaves, either clipped or mostly just yellowing/dying leaf. It's C99, and the biggest has got so many preflowers, it almost looks like it's gone 12/12 (but that isn't for at least 4-6 more weeks)!

Is there anything worth doing with this leaf? Obviously no trics to process, but I've vaporized with it and get an inkling of a buzz, but my tolerance is pretty high.

Thanks in advance.

the fan leaves are worthless man, even from plants with ripe buds the fann leaves will do nothing. in the veg phase you might aswell think of them as salad cause thats all they are chlorophil no thc lol.

That's not true man. In hard times making butter for cooking is always good. No chemicals involved. Just melt the butter in a double boiler throw in the dried powdered leaf heat for a couple hours pour the whole mix thru some cheesecloth to filter it into another container. If you wanna get all of the butter out you can pour some hot water thru the leaf still into the cheesecloth. After this put the water butter mixture in the fridge. The butter floats to the top and hardens so you can just take the piece of butter off the top and cook with it in whatever recipe you want.

good luck getting a noticeble buzz from fan leaves with out trichomes mate. maybe if you have a very trichome covered strain that makes trichomes on parts of the fanleaves you might be in luck, but fan leaves from plants that are veging have no trichomes.

Hey G, I think your wrong about fanleaves in flower not having trichs. If you dont believe me go look at one under a 60X radioshack microscope. But when making hash i wonder if it ienough to make a differance?

Take it easy
