posting for a friend who cant get to a computer right now...
plant is grand daddy purple and is the only strain stricken while all other plants show good health...

all organic in ocean forrest, light warrior ,planting mix, coco ,perlite blend watered once a week with worm casting compost tea ....
all season watered with hard well water 220 ppm 7.1 ph

this popped up overnight after a light feeding of age old bloom and is progressing rapidly . we have never encountered this before and are a little stumped... the leafs are curling under and twisting on top of the burtn rusty spots ...

can someone give a fix or suggestion ?

thanks in advance

7.1 maybe a little high. Don't think it's advisable for the pH to be over 7.0 for soil and 7.0 may still be a lttle high. Try pulling it down to 6.2 to 6.8.

I agree that 7 is a bit high, but PH trouble does not appear that fast (overnight)
those damages look weird, I hope someone more competent will have a look soon. I've had PH lock-ups and they don't look like that.

pH problems atleast in my experience.... incompetent though you may think I am, can
manifest themselves in many ways. It can lock out a number of nutrients and look like
anything from a Mg def to a Boron def(which is sorta what this looks like, the brownish splotches)

I have infact seen a drastic change in pH take hold to plants very quickly. That may
not be the case here. But I do have some insight into this world appreciated or not.

We are all in this together.... growing and helping each other. I would think and expect
other growers (especially ones with less credentials) not to judge others even
if their attempt at diagnoses may not be right.

Otherwise.... what's the fucking point?

hehehe, dude I didn't mean that YOU were incompetent. I simply meant that there are a couple of people here who know a LOT about these things and that I'm not one of them. Maybe you are, but I was speaking for myself.

You misunderstood my post completely, but I just want to point out, just for the record, that although I'm new here that doesn't mean I lack credentials. I was on Overgrow for years and had my own stickies n shit, visited by thousands of people, but when I changeg forum I had to start all over again. That doesn't mean I'm a noob

if you ask me it looks like a mangenese lockout, have you added mg lately? if so you may have added tooooo much and caused a nute lockout. if thats the case, flush the crap out of them and restart the fert regime with less magnesium. if you use epsom salts, quit! use cal mag, its awesome!

as for the bloom enhancer, try using awesome blossoms. less problems with better results!

No disrespect. Been a little touchy lately. Stress from a Byard full of finishing girls flapping their increasingly yellowing flags at anybody in the sky to see.....
