Problems in soiless

My grow is:

Indoor,soilless,Sunshine mix #4 and #2.

Nutes I have and use consist of:

Super thrive 1-1-1
Earth juice grow
Silica blast
tiger bloom 2-8-4
Ego grow part 1 5-0-3
organa guano 0-2-0
Thrive alive red
BC bloom 1-4-7

And recently got:

Mineral Matrix:

soluble potash (k20) 1.0%
Maghnesuim (Mg) 0.5%
Sulfur (S) combined 3.0%
Boron (B) 0.02%
Copper (Cu) 0.05%
0.05% WAter soluble copper
Iron (Fe) 2.0%

The soil PH seems to be around 5.8-5.9(run off indicates this) I water with PH of 6.3-6.1(Note this has not always been the case i had a faulty meter a few weeks back but now things are under control) The water source is a 19 Gallon bucket I leave sitting out overnite at a minimum, ussually a few days though. I PH up/down in a 2 gallon bucket.

These plants are just over 2 months old. I water wevery 2-3 days, or when pots are light. I feed them every other watering. Ussually i give 1 gallon doses of my nute lineup to 2 gallons so 1/2 doses i guess?

The plants are under 2 400 watt HID MH's. They are around a foot under them or so now the plants are about 4 feet or so....24/0 light Temps are around 75 give or take 2-3 degrees. RH is 55-50% The room is always open, It has one oscillating Fan.

My prob is lots of yellow leaves, With spotting upper growth seems to be fine but it is spreading somewhat (i think)

This last one is just an expample of what some of the leafs look like. I know they are getting locked out micro nutes, nitrogen, Mag even. Whats causing it though? How can i fix this besides feeding more? a Foliar feed maybe?

Bedtime, fill out the chart posted here in the infirmary. Someone will be right with you. Why are you still running 24 hour light with 4' plants? Give your babies some dark time. 4 foot plants and you flip them and you MAY have your roof lifted during flower. Depends on how much your strain stretches. How much lime did you add to your soil mix? How long did you let it sit after mixing? What are you using for ph down? Anyways, fill out the form.

They need more food. 2 400w lights are a lot of plant energy and you have not been feeding enough.

The yellowing is from lack of N and the blotches are lack of P. The leaf edge spotting is cal def.

Give a full strength dose of nutes and observe....organics take up to 7 days to break down and become available as food, so have some patience when looking for improvement.

Also raise that ph up a little to 6.3ish.... cal and P lockout around 5.8 and lower.

You can give them a spray with some fish emulsion & water, diluted 10-1

You'll see improvement overnight.

looks like macro and micro deficiencies happening here. Just want to make sure that you were saying your 19 gallon bucket is H20 only, and that you mix your ferts as needed. Basically, you're feeding 1/2 dose (mix 2 gallons according to directions for 1) every week, or so? If that is the case, I would go ahead and bump that up to the regular dosage and give them that for a few feedings and see if it doesn't improve.

Like Old Fool said, fill out the form, we'll all be able to help you more/better.

Also, as sirgrass mentioned, foliar feeding is an option for fast correction, but if you've never done it before, use the search feature and do some reading up on it. There are a number of ways one can screw it up (nute burn, light burn, etc.) so just a heads up there.

[EDIT: Just re-read your nute list... Are you using all of them, in veg? If you are, I'm thinking its overkill. Is the guano mixed in soiless or is it mixed in H2O? fill out the form- but looking at the plant, and being a user of Earth Juice, I'd prolly just bump that up to full dose, use the mineral matrix (I'm assuming it is like EJ microblast?) and remove everything else.

The Eco Grow and EJ gro are redundant.
Tiger bloom and BC bloom save for flower/ not sure but possibly redundant
Silica Blast? dunno what this is....
Superthrive- Stitch will tell you 'strong stuff, use only in veg and only 1 drop/gallon]

Old Fool: 1st Call me Bonzo. Second the form i filled out eeverything that pertained to me already, or what i could answer. There nothing wrong with 24/0 light with 4 foot plants,..... Ever think i dont want them to be small? Plus they will never be flowered these were for clones only. I use sunshine mix as i stated above its got tons of dolomite lime in it already.For PH up/down i use my local hydro shops brand "eco"

Pete: Ya thats what i guessing too myself and my roomate were giving them to much superthrive and thrive alive I didnt think it was a good idea but he kept doing it anyway....And as far as the ph ussually i get it to about 6.3 sometimes its 6.1 but the run off is always 5.9 so im not to worried.

Im going to the hydro shop today to get my water EC checked out. Im thinking of going exclusive canna line nutes any of u 3 have any suggestions? Or anyone for that matter? This is my first time in soiless and using liquid nutes.....THX again OLDF,Pete,SirG

I just cleaned a couple of under fed yellow girls up in no time, the spray had them cheery in 2 days, the water feed kicked in a few days later & they're looking great. I have a perpetual so it tends to get like a jungle in here at times & don't have as much free time to devote to the perfect grow as needed but I have one that sustains my appetite for delicious bud.

I added a pinch or two of epsom salts to the spray. There'll be a residue on the leaves, I wipe that off if it's really heavy but they seem to love the combo. I actually used a little urine 1/2 a shot glass mixed in a spray bottle. Watch the lamps.

Pure Blend Pro, Flora Nova or Bat Guano. My 3 choices.

Ya, like petey has said, they also need some nitrogen too. SUper thrive builds up very quickly and should be used very carefully.

Went to a different grow shop today......So i could get the Canna bought the whole fucking lineup! Ran me like $307 but from what i gathered from the old guy that was working there this is the SHIT. he also talked me into going to coco but couldnt get it cause they wouldnt take my card and couldnt get enough cash to buy it all soo ill go back tomorrow and get the 5 bags i was gonna get.


I gotta tell u this shop i went to was the shit. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Best day i've had in sooooooooooooo long. This guy broke it down barney style for me i luved it. Guess i cant fuck up now huh? Muahahahah. when i get the coco ill do a grow log. Well the suns about to come up in the basement so i guess i go feed my girls. CANNA W00t!

but.....spaced out and didnt get a water sample to ec test....Oops. ill do it as soon as i can....

Oh yes, I would feel the same way if I went into a hydro shop too, wish cops did not watch them most of the time or I would feel like I was in heaven!
