Problems germinating MDanzigs BlueRyder

I direct sowed 6 BR's in my aeorponic setup (under floro's) 9 days ago and none have sprouted.
After investigating, a few of them popped and there is a little taproot sticking out. I have used this direct sow method numerous times with bagseed and have had 99% success. It figures when I put $$ out I get skunked!!!

Is SLOW germination typical or are they dying????

Sorry to hear that you are having problems.....

Do you remember when you were looking at the seed and saw the little tap root sticking out was it white or discolored ?

Were any of them mushy ?

The blueryders I believe are JD's breeding of Mdanzigs work I could be wrong but if I was looking to get quality mdanzig made work I'd get it from the only place you can which is seedboutique.

They were still white SaH, which leads me to believe they're still alive. I'm trying desperately not to mess with them n let them do their thing but it's killin me.
Raz, they are JD's...got from attitude in original packaging.
I guess I will have to play the waiting game for now......

What's the temperature and humidity of where they're at? I've seen it take only 2 days inside and up to 2 weeks outside (non af)...Goodluck

I DONT sell "Blueryder" and Joint Doctor continues to blantantly sell my genetics under another name.

I believe he has a limited amount of lines he can potentially carry and with his two most recent strains(bluestreak, and sour 60) are the ones that are being distributed now. He has stated in the past that hes revamping masterlow but limited space only allows you to do so much.

Yes, correct. However, I will never be bringing Power Stout back, and Master Low needs some serious work.

Whats up with the PowerStout? I have some seeds of it, thinking of popping them, worth it?

Mr. Meds,
They're in a growcab, temp & humidity r good, never had these probs in the past.
Looks like bad genetics, gonna give it another week then start over.

transplant them somewhere to see if they pop in a month or so and start over now.
Happy new year Jah, better luck next time

I just ran a pack of these from the same source, and had very poor performance during germination, and very immature seed. Got 7 to germ with a LOT of help, and only 2 fems...although the 2 fems were pretty great. Really bugs me that JD is carrying Mossys gear...I would rather not buy from him considering the poor performance of these seeds (the genes are Great though)

I took all of the seeds out to start over. 2 were unpopped and I replanted in peat pods, the rest were cracked and the embryos were mushy.
I re-sowed the 4 remaining seeds from the original pack....IMHO the seeds look immature to me & they're real small.....

I found that pre-cracking the seed coat really helps...they have the masterlow trait of thick, hard seed coats that the seedling really has trouble breaking out of. I used a pair of tweezers, and very gently squeezed with the tweezers aligned parallel with the seam of the seed...or you can use your teeth too. Good luck.
