Problems at day 30 flower. It's not looking good. Help!

Using PBP nutrients at 30ml/gal and Liquid Karma. PH is right on, as are room temperatures. Waterfarm setup day 30 flower. I previously had issues with hermies. Now this is the problem. The strange thing is that 2 of the 6 plants are affected. However, I have thought now for at least 2 weeks that something is wrong because the tops of these buds are not really developing. In this aspect, all of the plants seem affected.

Any ideas here? Thanks,

I also noticed this on ONLY one of the plants... Some purpling. Maybe this is temperature related because this plant is closest to the air intake and maybe it got a bit cool?

ALSO, it is mainly the top 5 inches of the plants that are affected with the nasty leaves, and buds that are not really forming it seems...

looks liek a Phosphorus deficiency to me, check out the thread above.

and try to lower ur nutes.

Like with your grow, this is a nutreint burn, most likely phosphorous.

Thaniel, this used to happen to me a fair bit too back in the days when I was guessing how much to feed my plants.

That all changed as soon as I discovered this page explaining the exact nutrient needs of cannabis. http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/fourtwenty/articles/profiles.htm

It even has a nutreint calculator for you to work out exactly how much to feed with the nutes you have.
Very useful.

It might seem complicated but it isn't , just takes a good 20 minutes and instead of guessing how much to feed, you will be feeding the exact amounts you should be feeding for maximum yield.

More ppl should do it.

PS: I had to buy myself a pk 13/14 nute to come up with the right figures

Your using too much ferts. You should use about 1/2 of what your using. (30ml)

This level of npk should be fine. The amount of magnesium (mg) in this fert is low. You really need cal mag to add to it. But, you don't want more nitrogen. So you should add 1/8 teaspoon of both powdered gypsum and epsom salts per gallon of water along with the pbp bloom.

i never feel that its stressed enough..

just because the bottle says 'full grown feed 30ml..' i have found better results with about 1/4 that or less and not used every watering. 30ml every watering is going to cause nute burn, buildup and lockout.

my first grow had this yellowing up near the buds i couldn't figure out why the fuck i had deficiencies when i'm feeding what the bottle said. of course i know better now.

use the least amounts of nutes possible.. and you will learn the difference between overfed and underfed.

Thanks for the replies, guys.. I'm sure that this is what is going on... It isn't getting any worse, but I have been only adding ph'ed tap water to my res every day...

I just want this grow to be over with so that I can start fresh again.

So I chopped down at day 40. Yield was 26 ounces. 2 of the 6 plants were seeded, the others were not. Overall, I was happy. I have never had purple buds like these before, they really ended up looking quite beautiful, even though they could have gone another week or 2. This strain is now extinct in my garden, and I have 10 afghani's in veg right now. The should be ready to flower in a week.

I have this purple on the growth shoots of my 2 1/2wk old seedlings, but then it seams to growout. They have had little signs of this from seed. I dont think mine is temp related being they never get dark and temp is always 79F. Still P burn? I have only feed them a half dose of Metanaturals Base 3-3-3.
