Problem with my timer board

I've got a timer board and i'm having problems getting it to work. Heres the problem.... Its an Intermatic T103 timer, hooked up to 8 outlets, 6 of these are 240v timed and two are 120v untimed... i have it hooked upto a 40 amp breaker with 8/3 wire... now the issue is, none of the outlets work... the wiring is done properly, because it was hooked up before and working... and now ive hooked it up and nothing is working

So, I went out and bought a new timer, hooked it up and it still doesnt work... anyone here have any suggestions, i even tried replacing the outlets... not the problem..

Cheers

have u used a multimeter to check for proper voltage in all the necessary places?
i've got a nearly identical setup and love it

Is there power getting to the T103?
Does the timer function on the T103?
Have you tried flipping the 40a breaker off then back on? (sometimes when a breaker trips, it won't go to the off position)

A voltmeter is probably going to be your best friend on this one...

I'd take a volt tester first where the wires enter the 40A breaker in the panel, then I'd check the load side then line side of the timer.Start at the beginning you'll find it

K...so that pretty much leaves it to something after the timer. I'd start by checking the outputs from the T103, then check the wiring of the outlets and finally do a continuity test to the outlets. Are the 120v outlets running off the timer output?

No the 120v outlets bypass the timer, instead the black wire connects to one of the incoming hot wires and the white connects to the incoming neutral on the timer plates.

May be a dumb question bro but you did pull a neutral wire from the panel to the timer correct?2 hots 1 neutral and 1 ground?

the way 240V works is by using two 120v feeds. the two 120v lines must be out of phase to create the 240v. your hot wires coming in both carry 120v. combined they are 240v. the timer (if 240v) must have the inputs be each of the 120v lines, not one just split. post some pictures of it and the wiring and i'll see what i can discover.
