Problem with an RO unit

I live in an apartment where the water is very hard (ec 0,9) so I have to filter it. The problem is that water pressure is very low and because of that my 50gpd RO unit (portable type) produces only 7 gpd . So the question is - if I buy a 150gpd unit will it give me 3x more water? I know there is an option to install a water booster pump in front of the filter but it's probably noisy and where I live it's even hard to find a vendor who is willing to ship it or it has a ridiculously high price.

I've just bought a small RO unit (German Ebay reseller), with a booster pump.

Later today, I may assemble it, and see how much noise the pump makes.

Noise is also one of my concerns, so it will indeed be interesting to know.

Yes, the bigger the RO (more and larger membranes) will produce more water. However, a booster pump makes cleaner water and wastes less water, as they are designed to work at 65 psi plus. You can buy high flow low temp membranes for Stealth RO models now, bit they do t filter as well, either way, booster pumps are pretty wise if you're not on city water.

I got mine assembled, and it's not noisy at all.

The 'singing' of the water in the water pipes is still louder (I live in an old building with calcified/mucked up water pipes)
