PROBLEM: Long Veg, Big Ladies, No space to flower??

Hello all, I have about 45 ladies in a 11'x7' room. Due to some crappy timing in life I have had to leave these in veg since almost December. They are in 5 gal containers filled with potting mix and being fed Flora Nova.. The problem is the room is 8.5'high and the plants are about 6'5 - they are a haze cross..

If and when I put them in 12/12 they will hit the roof before they finish stretching.. What can I do?

or clone the top 2 foot of your plants...you can prune the hell out of them and get a bunch of cuts

The tops are bushy but halfway down till the pots its pretty bare.. I was thinking if I clone I wont be left with much to harvest from. I could possibly chop them to bits take 150 clones and just flip them to 12/12 when they get roots....im still pressed for time and I need the $

there used to be this product called superbud that would stunt the plants when you used it and it would aid in heavier production.... not sure if there is something new?

you can chop them and they will grow back in the flower stretch

i would keep 2-4 for mothers, use the best and strongest 50% of them, and transplant into 10 gallon buckets. Then i would LST, top, and trim them down to 4', then flower the fuck out of those babies and pull some major weight!

good luck!

definitely just LST the tops to the ground and flower.

what he said.

wont effect yeild much either way. even if you have to gently snap over a few heads. panic over. no worries.

As Vonforne, thegrower and POP said, by doing a severe LST on the tops and tying them down as much as possible, all the auxins will flow into secondary branches and will help fill out the plant, making multiple tops. As soon as you tie them down, the top will curve upwards trying to reach the light. You might have to retie the plants several times to keep the top pointing down. The main stem will wind up curvy as hell, but the plant will get far more bushy. You may have to LST several of the side colas as well, to keep the plant from overgrowing your space.

45 ladies in an 11 by 7 room,I just dont see much bending room in that scenario,if they are truly 6'5'' I see no way out but to take cuts from some of the shorter phenos and try again, growing out seedplants itself can be a losing proposition in a lot of situations

Super crop them.

Pinch all the stems of the growth and they will fall over limp. You can half the size of your plants. Once they recover and start to get even more bushy, LST the shit outta them. You'll be fine and get a huge harvest.

I agree. Take a ton of clones. Train those branches and put them right into flower. Height can always be played with through training and pruning.

nothin beats lst! supercroping will stunt them b4 they recover, LST is LOW-STRESS :) check this out.... 3 plants, heavy lst, plenty of tops :joint: [but never 'topped'] pic is end of week3

plants are only like 3' vertical height and were vegged for 6-7weeks. :joint:
