Problem at the top of the plant

Hey all, I'm having a problem thats just effecting the top of my plants. The rest of the plant looks great, its just the top that looks lighter than the rest of the plant.

Looking closer at the tops I noticed that the inner part of the flower is lighter and gets darker on the outer parts. The closest thing I could find in the sick plant guide would be a sulfur deficiency but I'm not sure if thats what it is.

Thx all--

the new growth always looks lighter.... So the new bud thats just forming will be lighter green .... but if your light too close you could also be bleaching the leaves!

Probly not the answer but,,,,

Peace

It's like the leaves are a little smaller and paler on the top. I don't think its just a case of new growth as the area feels crispier and looks dramtically lighter.

I have a feeling it may be overfeeding so I've been just giving plain water the last two waterings, we'll see if this helps at all. I should know more in a few days.

Kingspade: That's the start of an MG def or possiblly zinc. Use about .5Tsp Epsom salts to a quart spray bottle and soak that mother.

Are they Flowering?
If so, how long?
Did you switch to 12/12 all at once?

If they are, then sometimes when you switch in one day rather than a matter of days, and the growing conditions are pretty close to optimal, the plants will start the stretch and grow so fast that the pigment in the new leaves takes a couple days to catch up.

If that's what it is then it'll clear up in couple days.

Now I'm not saying this always happens everytime you invoke flowering, but sometimes it does and it freaked me out the first time I saw it.

No not like those pics above, the leaves themselves are fine. It's just the actual "future budsite" if you know what i mean, you know the flower part on top. But yeah its sort of a pale green color, and it looks a little smaller...

But anyhow, after having been giving just plain ol' water the last 3 or so times it seems to have lessened. So i'm thinking it is over-ferting.

Just to give a little background, the plants were recently transplanted into FoxFarm Ocean Forest plus given some veg nutes. So I'm almost positive it was overferting, cuz I hear some peeps say that u don't even have to feed for the first 3 to 4 weeks when using Ocean Forest.

Btw the strain i'm growing is Kill Bill from Rez so far they look great, nice big fan leaves and fat stalks. I'm sure someone else out there has tried this strain already...
Just took a couple clones from each and will probably put them into flowering sometime next week.
