Here in Boulder, CO, 1/4 oz of good stuff (Sweettooth, Blueberry, Northern Lights, Colorado Cough [though I'm not such a big fan of the Cough]) is $100, 1/8 for $50. Not many discounts for bigger buys that we've seen. Typically all that's available is high quality and expensive pot, but always good, and usually plenty of it around (except for now when there seems to be a little mini-drought going on). We can occasionally get cheaper ($80 a 1/4 for great stuff) but those are usually special deals. Otherwise, the $100 a 1/4 oz for excellent weed is pretty standard. We never ever see hash, unless we make the Bubble Hash ourselves. Otherwise, never seen it for sale in the area since the 80's.

BTW, legend has it that Colorado Cough is from the Ft. Collins region, and is named not because it makes you choke (though it kinda does, IMHO) but because it's named after an herb called Colorado Cough (Osha), an herb that's good for curing cough. BUt I don't think the herb we're discussing here is going to cure a cough...cough, cough...VAPORIZE IT!

You can easily find some better buds in the suburbs of detroit.. to them, weed is like a status symbol..everyone wants the best.. Beasters are always around and very cheap at 200 to300..Strawberry Cough, Some Kush, Northern Lights and People trying to slang fake purple haze but atleast its purple and that runs 350-500..
Im a about to have my own strawberry diesel pretty soon... IF i got rid of it, probably could go for 450 oz... Diesels dont seem to float around my circle at all...Im bringing the stink...
If you go to the NBA Championship game where we are whoppin on the Spurs and start to smell a dead skunk.. it was probably me!!...lol

When I was growing/selling in southern California (last year), I was getting $3,600 per pound from the dispensaries. This was indoor grown bud -- AK47, Dynamite, Afghani Bullrider, Chronic, etc. All was well grown, well dried, and trimmed right down to the bud. It never took me more than two or three days to get rid of everything I grew, and most of the clubs I worked with were always trying to rope me into supplying their club exclusively. Really good, reliable growers who can deliver multiple pounds on time, year round are very rare -- plenty of opportunities for growers who know their shit.

The clubs would then turn around and sell it for anywhere from $50 to $70 an 1/8th ounce. Most won't sell a single individual more than a 1/4 because of the legal heat.

I usually never dealt with individual users or dealers -- too much risk -- but my partner like to deal out a little to friends. For friends only, it was $1,000 per qp, and $40 an 1/8th.

I know guys who deal in Mexi brick weed who sell it for about half of what the good stuff goes for. The Cali stoners I knew, for the most part, are pot snobs and won't touch that Mexi schwag, but a market obviously exists for it somewhere. Prices in Cali are a little nuts, but I think it is mostly a demand problem. Everyone wants top quality shit in SoCal, so the price of the best stuff gets bid up pretty high. Prices for OG Kush are insane -- often twice as much as the stuff I grew. I've smoked the OG from an LA club, and while it was good, it wasn't anywhere near twice as good as the AK47 I was growing.

In these parts (eastern ontario) 150-200/oz 5-600/qp 900/hp and 1500/lb for decent quality bud and if you know somone who grows 125-150/oz 400/qp and not much in the way of a discount for larger amounts as most of it is available in fairly small amounts from small time individual growers. In these parts choppers might take a second look at small outdoor grows but less than 25-50 plants will ussually be left alone, so a lot of people do small outdoor grows.

They really do take people for a ride downsouth, especially if you don't have any good connects. I tend to stick with the mids for now. Occasionally I'll buy exotic, but you really not guaranteed to get what you pay for since a lot of the dealers don't know themselves. I think they just make up a name half the time. I just laugh at them on the inside when I hear some of the names they call their weed, not knowing I'm ten times more knowledeable than them in the subject. lol
