found an ad on CL where a older guy is selling, 3 near brand new 1k's with hoods, hangers, timers and bulbs, 2 of which are brand new hortiluxe. the ballasts/hoods are from virtual sun. heard of them but never used them. also includes a brand new unopened ez clone 30, carbon filter, 3 x 6" inlines, 4 burner co2 genny, climate controller and an ozone generator. he's also throwing in a bunch of ductwork and odds and ends. all of this for $1000.
it sounded like someone talked him into buying this big setup to run in a master closet. i think heat became an issue lol
i was planning on buying 2 1ks with hoods and what not and had planned for about $600. i dont need the ez clone and can easily sell it on ebay. i have a Co2 genny but i can sell one. i can sell the ozone genny since i have a beast one in the attic. i have a badass sentinel controller so i can sell the new one or use it. i figure i can make back about half and come up on all the lights/fans/bulbs/hoods for about $500 give or take.
he mentioned about to buy one of those super expensive all in one grow cabinets as soon as all this is gone. it pains me to hear people buy a $3000 turnkey setup when they are so easy to DIY. i may see if he wants me to set one up for him.
