Preflowers developing? Would like an answer please.!!!!

If you get preflowers during veg ie 18/6 hours..
Will they develop. Should I then chop my males?

Yes,if they are male preflowers and you dont want males

I know but what I am asking is will the preflowers develop into flowers or will it just stay at preflowers until I turn it to 12/12.

They shouldn't do anything more than show preflowers with that light. Unless you are experienced with sexing plants it is a good idea to wait for the males to cluster before you kill them. If you know how to sex them, and dont want any seed, kill them.....

Sorry I misunderstood your question no the plants wont flower until you give them 12 hours dark time,preflowering is part of the vegetative phase which normally extends 2-3 weeks into the 12/12 photoperiod,its a good idea to use high N during this time.

Preflowers usually won't show up on short vegged plants, but almost all plants will show preflowers under longer veg cycles. I veg for 8 weeks and all my plants except my Princess Diesel males showed their sex. The PD males didn't show until I put them into 12/12 for about 10 days. Then I had balls everywhere. Fortunately I got the little fucker out of there and used his pollen to make an F-2 of the PD and slapped a little on 2 phenos of afghan/bullrider.
