Good day all, Firetech signing back on, and starting a grow again. Its been several years since I've popped beans and grew dank. Man has tech changed in the last 8-10 years! Exciting times with new gear. Well let's share the setup and line up for this first round.
Went with an AC infinity 2x4 kit and quickly talked the misses to letting me setup a second one to keep moms and production clones and veg in.
The mom tent has a S24 200w ion board, 6" exhaust fan, 4" fresh air fan, 9" oscillating fan, and a humidifier.
Bloom tent is running a Ionframe Evo3 280w, 6" exhaust fan, pulling air from mom tent (both tents are positive pressure), 9" oscillating fan (soon to be two).
Pretty happy with the performance thus far, its still early though, but what I've seen people accomplish with this gear im not worried.
Now the best part, the line up of ladies. Im very blessed to know some great guys in the scene and got hooked up with an Animal Tsunami cuts (6) and The One cuts (6). I also love old skool strains and dropped some Bennys for Katsu Pre 98 Bubba (prob my most favorite strain). Other beans I started were some Black Opal from Irvine Seed Co.
I took the best of each of the cuts and saved them as moms, and the next best 3 of each cut are veging in the bloom tent and will be flowered. Seedlings are with the moms and plan on running a full tent of the bubba next.
Getting back into it was kinda like hopping back on a bike but drunk , I didn't go back and read my journals or do extensive research online. So of course I over watered and gave way to much light to the little ladies. Currently cresting the recover hill and getting back on track. Let's now go back a month and start the show
Mid January
Got tents set up and in order. Built my soil and let it cook.
Beginning of February
Popped some beans, got cuts transplanted into solos
Mid February
Selected moms and whos getting ran this flower cycle. Translated into #3 pots for moms, and 7g fabric pots (holds 9g). Seedling still in solos. I overwated the 7g pots also gave them too much light, quickly recovered and hopefully cruising now.
Late Feb - current
In process of drying them out, raised circulation and exhaust to assist, raised and dimmed light, what visible damage has stopped and getting good new growth. Top dressed soil with dolomite lime and EWC as they didn't make it into the original mix. Toped girls in flower and haven't touch anything since.
Soil build and mixing
