pre vegging in 12/12

Hi, I have some LR2XWhite dwarf seeds on the way that I was planning to grow outdoors.
I was going to let them grow inside in my growbox for a week or two under 18/6 light, however my 60 day wonder I got growing in the box didn't want to flower under 18/6 so I had to change the light to 12/12.
Is it still possible for me to vegg the lowryders under 12/12 before putting them outdoors, or should I just plant the seeds in soil outdoors from the beginning?

Sure but i'll put money up that they are going to stretch a lot.

What are your overnight lows and how much light are they going to get outside now ?

Outside at night the temperature drops to between 40-50 fahrenheit. Since I'm living in Finland the sun just barely sets below the horizon at night. After midsummer it will get darker every day but it will still be very bright nights.
I can imagine the plants will get really stressed by going from 12/12 to over 20 hours of light a day and low temperatures.

Doesn't sound like too much of a problem the initial stretching under 12/12 might even be good for the end structure of the plant. & i doubt putting them in 20hours+ of light afterwards will stress them... they'll just be really happy & grow faster than ever
