Pre-sample, growth inhibit?

Hello.

I have a daughter, about six weeks old counting from 12/12.
i was thinking about getting a sample in form of a branch, will this inhibit the growth of the rest of the plant enough to make it worth the effort or is it better to wait a couple of weeks?

I'm fucking absad.

Thanks in advance.

Here she is by the way

Just can't wait? :D

There is a growing technique called bud crowning. It's kind of like fimming, except add the difficulty of cutting the growth tip when it's covered in bud. The bud, instead of growing straight up, starts developing into a ball shape. I couldn't tell you if it increased yield, my experimenting with it was very brief. You just take clean sharp scissors and snip a little bit off the top of the bud, 1/8 inch or so... I think, you may want to look up the technique before trying it.

You could try it on a few "expendable" budsites to get your sample, and maybe you won't have to completely remove a branch. Just an idea :)

I would just wait it out man. Any sample you do get will not be a good indicator of finished quality, as it will not be finished. Over time you learn that patience is always worth the wait. It probably would not affect growth of other parts of the plant if you do decide to "sample"
