pre made scrubbers

my grow is just entering flowering, and ive noticed that the strains im growing are much more stronger in smell then the other ones I had before. My closet isnt air tight, but as close as you can get to air tight. It goes closet -> room -> AC unit -> window exhaust.

although you cant smell anything outside, inside the room its a bit strong after ive opened the door to the closet to water or whatever. they are only in day 15 flowering. It smells like fresh plants more then anything, with a hint of marijuana in there.

Im using a stanley blower, blowing through a carbon filter that i bought off ebay (cheap crap, $30 came with a 12v pc fan that barely sucked any air.)

another question is do those can fans come pre wired? or do they need to be wired?

I talked to the guy and it is very quiet. Quieter than the smaller ones. I pan on using it in a grow area 3x3x8 feet within a bedroom.

Yes it's a bit spendy, but worth it IMO

Check out all his filters. He has different sizes and responed promptly to my email questiuons

My vortec came pre-wired... if its not, just pickup a pigtail cord form home depot... black to black, white to white.... green to the green screw. I would invest in the can fan... I doubt the ebay model linked above could handle the stench of a decent sized flowering.

I won't know till I try it will I? What makes you think this model is inadequate for a 100ft3 space? It will likely change that room out 4-5 times a minute. This guy is getting good feedback. I doubt that would be the case if he were ripping people off (the past buyers of this scrubber).

As I understand it, the unofficial "rule" is 3 room changes per minute through a good filter will do it. Keep in mind I will only have 3-5 plants growing a max of 36-40 inches.

I had the older version of his carbon scrubber, it may say 500cfm but its more like 20 or so. they are very weak fans. I cant comment on the new scrubber you linked though. appears to have a different fan.

i use a can 2600 for my grow and it's possibly the best investment i have made
......no smell at all...none..nada..zip

check out the prices here...also look at the ventilation equip.
