MH on 24 hours a day

Fed full strength nutes every other watering
Tap water that has been set out for at least 48hrs with 1 tsp of H202 added


These cuts were aquired on 2/24/14 from a local club.
They were transplanted in into 1 gal grow bags and watered with bottled spring water.

Transplant shock was immediate due to too low ph from the promix. Nute def symptoms were appearing due the ph swing locking out what looked like calcium magnesium and phosphorus.

I repotted them after 3 days getting uglier each day, into some slightly cut down 7 gal grow bags with extra lime, each plant getting about one cup.
The loved the new pots and the extra lime and were back in action the next day!!

It's amazing how fast promix responds to changes, almost like hydropnoics but more forgiving.

Most of the defs seemed to go away and the growth has been explosive. I topped them when i transplanted into the big pots and now they are quite round and exploding with growth!!

I like to measure the fan leaf temps an the top of soil with an infrared thermo gun, This lets me get a better idea of how hot the plant really is.

You can notice what looks like either light bleaching, nute burn or maybe mg def on the bubbas

The tent is running 62 watts per square foot and the 1000w MH is about 18-20 in above plants.

Chernobyl dry med pic. Bho in container the greasy looking stuff is from afgooey a buddy made for me and the bubble hash looking stuff is the pre 98 bubba bho, very bubble hash consistency and just melts to nada.

I switch to HPS after week 3 or 4 depending on strain.

This usually gives less stretch, a tighter node spacing as well as more Trichome development due to the UVB in the MH.

I am taking about 3-5 clones from each plant about two weeks before I flower. I also like to trim the lower scraggly growth when I take my cuts.

Honestlty if anyone that's new wants an easy recipe this is it.

I've tried lots of methods over the past 15 years and come to this simple reciple.

1. Awesome Fan -Max fans are by far the best on the market
2. Bright Light - (at least 50 watts per square foot with both MH and HPS)
3. The Best Nutes - Only use whats listed in original post, dont forget lime for a ph buffer
4. Big pots- Bigger is better I use grow bags cause they are cheap and can be cut down if needed. Remember the roots want no restriction, 5 or 7 gal for veg and 10+ gal for flower is what you will see me use.

The Earth Juice is one of the only nutrients that you dont need to Ph when you hand water your plants. Its Very forgiving and the results speak for themselves. You will see the plants grow and the beautful buds and be sold on this recipe.

Some say to bubble the nutes and brew a tea with it to stabilize the ph I have never done so... I let the dolomite lime in the soil buffer the ph for me. I just make sure to shake the hell out of the bottles of nutes because its all organic and will settle/separate when stored. SO SHAKE IT UP!!

Hello and good day ICMAG!

Today is day 21 and thing are coming along nicely.

Seems like the Chernobyls are Magnesium hungry like a mofo. I been hittin em with the cal mag+ but its not enough, they want a hot dose like stat....lol

I thought I was just overwatering the nobyls cause they hardly drink but they have since dried up and got water and now look pissed off...

Thats what makes me think they just murdered all the mg in there.

The bubbas fuckin drink way more than the chernobyls do and have a lot less foliage which is kinda odd to me....


The bubbas are perfect actually. I tied them back and now they are multi-topped beauties


snapped a few shots a couple days ago too, when i tied the bk's down.


I ended up breaking a branch off a bk and threw it in a jug of water cuz im too lazy to get the promix out...lol yeah yeah yeah i know....

BTW I have no clue what my ph or tds or ec is so dont ask. Lol

I think I'm going to foliar feed with epsom salt in a day or two if the cal mag dosn't help... Might have too much calcium blocking out the mg, doubt it but its a possibility.

I just think they a mg hogs. Giving them another good dose of calmg+ tonight or tomorow.

I have been feeding them at tsp/gal maybe they need a tbl/gal...

update

The girls have been busting... So before I flower them in a few weeks I decided to transplant them into their final home. Repotted into 15 gal smart pot knock off called yield pots a week or two ago.

My mix was as follows...

2) 2 cu ft Happy Frog bags
2) 20 liter perlite bags
1) 1.5 or 1.0 cu ft TGA Super Soil bag cant remember the size
Then I added endless shots of Marine Cuisine and Fine grade dolomite lime. Mixed the hell outa the soil and was left with a few liters of soil mix for top dressings later.

I made a tea out of the Marine Cuisine per the directions on the bag and I also made a tea out of the earth juice lineup, bubbled for 24hours then fed at 4 cups per gallon of water. Each plant got like 5 gallons of water.

First time for everything I guess. lol the girls seem to love it. More pix next post gimme a sec to upload more pix...

Looking good so far I am subbing. You shouldn't be getting light bleaching unless your lights are way to close. I also run a 1k in a 4x4 tent and with my fan almost running a little over halfway on the speed controller I can get plants like 4" from the glad with no bleaching.

These pix are from a couple days ago sometime... I've been in the process of moving and I work graveyards so my days are a blur. Please bare with me on the lack of dates and such.

I'll try to get some new shots in a day or two. They are exploding every day, I'm thinking they will be ready for flowering in a just few days.
I think I'm around the 5th or 6th week of veg.

BTW...
15 gal pots saturated and with a large plant growing out that shit are heavy as fuck!! Moving them was not an easy task.

sorry for the lack of updates but I've managed to take some pix

The canopy was about 80% full when I switched the lights to flower on april 3rd

I run the lights from 8PM to 8AM on so the cool night air works with my ventilation and I get to keep my fan running 24/7 while keeping a near perfect night time temp of 68 and day temp about 76

I use the max fan because they are the most powerful fan on the market, they have true cfm rating while other companies are just throwing out numbers... They are light weight, small, and decently quiet. This particular model has three speed settings, I keep it on the lowest setting and that fan is damn near inaudible on low. Plus it uses .7 amp at full speed. ( no i do not work for this fucking fan company...lol )

I try to shoot for at least 250 cfm per 1000 watt.
