what kind of load are you going to run off it ?

if you are going to run 3-1000 watters you could run off three different breakers with three timers and heavy duty ext cords

most houses in america have at least 50 amp service and if you have a breaker box 220 is fairly easily available but you should get an electrician to run it from the breaker box to a junction box a few feet away then you could turn off the breaker and run 220 grade romex wire [ you need more wires for 220 than reg with white black and bare ground i think you need 2 more but i don't feel like going down to the basement and checking a 220 junction box] but you run the 220 wire and put a breaker and an outlet at the end where you want it[
get the electrican to wire the breaker and outlet and a junction before it on a piece of plywood then you just follow the wire colors hooking 220 between the two junctions

but again are you running a machine shop next to your set up or what 30 amp 220 is like 60 amp 120 if i remember correctly

just check that link you listed what is it you want to run
is it 240 nolt euro or asian equipment or what
is one thing going to draw all 3000 watts or several things add up to it ?

your post scares me it sounds like a receipe for a fire

yeah i've seen folks on boards with huge amounts of watts and amps in their power load for their grow but i'd bet good money that they all got to that size gradually ...

don't mean to be so critical but you don't make sense with out knowing more about what needs all that juice and what its specs are...

No its not doable. 15 amps cannot be turned into more power.

You may have more than one circuit in the room, can you turn off circuits at least to see? Do you have access to the panel? Is there a baseboard heater in the room? Can you run an extension cord?

plug a light or fan or razor or whatever into the 2 outlets, turn them on and start turning off the circuits, turn off your computer first. It will be one of the 15 or 20 amp circuits, if the 2 outlets both go off together then they are on the same circuit.

Same goes for an extension cord, test to see if its on a different circuit - where you plug it in. 10 gauge extension cords are great, 12 gauge may be good.

You could also run an extension cord or romex from your panel to the room, or you could get power at the baseboard heater which should be 220 volts. You may need someone with electrical skills for the last 2 options.

They also make light bulb to recepticle adapters. . . no ground though.
