power hitter

Any of you guys remember the power hitter? It was made of soft plastic with a hard plastic screw on top that held a joint. I had a glow in the dark one back in the70s.

we all ways made our own power hitters using old mustard containers, been a long time since i even seen one.

I still got an old one sitting around here somewhere. Red with a big pot leaf on it. Now you got me wanting to use it again..ha

The marijuana leaf was right on top of the carb hole. The harder you squeezed it the thicker the smoke was LOL.

I use to own one of them mines had a gold bottle with a black cap and steel pipe to insert the joint and screw the cover back on and it glowed in the dark if you put it against any light and it has a pot leaf molded right into the rubber, shit I have been looking for one of them for years now..

had mines back in the 70's...

You described it to the tee RoachClip. I smoked a lot of Colombian gold in mine, imagine smoking medical weed out of one. talk about blackout hit LOL.

I would roll a fatty when I was young still living home and put a towel under my bedroom door and throw on a Led Zeppelin album plug in my head phones and shut my light and crawl under and into my sleeping bag and with the lighter spark up the joint put it in the steel holder then put it in the bottle turn it tight and lay their with my head phone loud enough to play zeppelin while squeezing the power hitter with massive amounts of smoke blowing in your mouth and nose and all the ashes fell in the bottle which was the great part and later you would pull out the (Roach) and save them when you didn't have any weed..

my madre would sleep on the couch because of my padre being drunk in bed so I had to make sure the towel was across the door for the smell but I had a double size sleeping bag and would go in that lol

To kewl man.. brings back the days of getting my Kiss Alive Double Album set as well..

yeh those things are great...a long while back a friend of mine had a blue one that he carried around everywhere with him...me and some friends made some out of various containers but they never "popped" back into place as well as the powerhitters. I always wanted to make one out of those old crayola paint containers that I used to see in school..seemed like the same container.

Ha Ha ,we had a homemade mustard bottle power hitter. I thought my buddy had an original idea. Nice way to cool smoke.

I had that Oat Wheelie in brite blue. Lost it in a fire in spring of '77.

we used to make something like that with 2lt bottles, first time i tried it, i fell down and threw up all over my room at a party lol.. ahh good times

Mines was exactly like I explained and the same color gold or looks gold to me as when I would hold it close to a lamp it would glow in the dark...

I did make a call thanks to a kewl member here and the dude told me they still sell them and their called "Bed Side Smokers" and they had to remove the marijuana leaf and cannot send out of state because he explained a woman from New York wanted one just yesterday.

To me just having the leaf on the bottle made it an original Item and without it sucks and just Isn't the same....

Thanks for pictures One Love that was my favorite smoking accessory. Your right Roachcilp the leaf gave it that 70s stoner look; it wouldn’t be the same with out it.
