Powdery Mildew

I think I've got a fairly bad case of this in my garden and I'm just about to harvest, actually chopped down the tops tonight.

I noticed some of the leaves on the top buds have turned crispy and yellowy/goldish. I know yellowing is normal towards the end of the cycle but I don't quite remember them being this goldy looking. I thought maybe it was due to Powdery Mildew.

I'm guessing Powdery Mildew probably greatly affects the taste and potency of the product?

I should also point out that the mites were getting rather out of hand on these tops I've cut off.

If it's PM then your fan leaves will look all downy like they're covered with a white fuzz.

This all reminds me why I need to correct my vision when checking my cuttings! I tend to peer in at them on the floor then shut the door so would never see that with my vision but I notice when the leaf gets ravaged by it!
