Potassium Magnesium and Calcium...

So I have recently started brewing my own teas,

For a my sources of Potassium/Magnesium and Calcium I have a box of this stuff I got from the garden center, it states it's 100% organic and is called SulPoMag here is what it says

Souluble Potash 20%
Magnesium 10%
Sulfer 21%

And I will be using Gypsum for Calcium......Now my question is how much of the SulPoMag and the Gypsum should I add per gallon of my tea to reach proper ratios???

Please let me know if I left anything out!!

Thanks!

You can use that. It's always best to check the label on the bottle for recommended doses. But, I think you would be much better off using powdered dolomite lime in a peat or coir based grow medium. A good medium rich in humates from compost or worm castings will work to buffer pH in organic nute solutions like guano teas, Pure Blend Pro and other nute mixes.
You may want to try one of these mixes...

LC’s Soiless Mix #1:
5 parts Canadian Spaghnam Peat or Coir or Pro-Moss
3 parts perlite
2 parts wormcastings or mushroom compost or home made compost
Powdered dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon or 1 cup per cubic foot of the soiless mix.
...Check the link in my sig line below for cheap earthworm castings. Free shipping to the eastern USA.

Or, if you use Pro Mix or Sunshine Mix...
LC's Soiless Mix #2:
6 parts Pro Mix BX or HP / Sunshine Mix (any flavor from #1 up)
2 parts perlite
2 parts earthworm castings
Powdered dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon or 1 cup per cubic foot of the soiless mix.
If you use a 3 qt. saucepan as “parts” in the amounts given above, it equals about 1 cu. ft. of soiless mix and you can just dump in a cup of powdered dolomite lime.

Good luck with your grow.

Burnone,

Thank you for your responce....that isnt exactly what im looking for though, I have my soil mix down my friend, I do not need help in that area....I am solely looking for how much of the product listed above to add in order to have proper ratios of Potasium Calcuim and Magneseum.....Isnt it suppose to be 4:2:1 ???????

I don't understand what you mean by 4:2:1. If you are talking about N-P-K (Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium) ratios, it's 3-1-2 for veg and 1-3-2 for flower.
Like I said, the best place for info is on the product label. Use as directed.

Im pretty sure he said what he meant....

1 part magnesium 2 parts calcium 4 parts potassium....

Mine has

5 potassium

2 calcium and
.5 magnesium....

IMO the magnesium is a bit weak....

421 is about right....

I get some magnesium defs with mine so I add dolomite....

if it were 5-2-1 I would probably not get magnesium def...

Yes. That's right. You want that in your soil. If you added dolomite lime to your soil, you would use less cal mag in your water. Your not going to get this ratio in your water using sulpomag which is 2:1 k to mg.

Here is an example: (per gallon of water)
1/4 teaspoon potassium nitrate (ingredient in some stump removers at hardware stores) = 133 k and 48 n
1/4 teaspoon gypsum = 60 ca
1/4 teaspoon epsom = 30 mg
133:60:30 is about 4:2:1

Of course, you would also need more n, p and micros with this.
