Pot technology for the 21st century?

Air-Pots..... see http://www.superoots.com/air_intro.htm for information

Dont know if anybody has used these for growing {indoors rather than out}, but my knowledge of Air-Pots makes it my next project..... got a DVD about them at Horticulture College a while ago..... sounded ideal for cannabis.

These pots really do make a difference: the air-pruning that takes place causes surprising root ball development, plus the A I R available to the plant is increased significantly........

These pots were developed in Australia, specifically for tree and shrub purposes.... now crossing over to general horticulture.

Research done with these posts is impressive also.

Anybody tried them, or something similar?

I just got a few of these yesterday to try

Soft Smart Pots
Smart Pot soft growing containers allow more air to reach the growing medium and roots, improving drainage and keeping the root system from overheating on hot days. Plant roots also benefit from their natural tendency to grow into soft surfaces like the Smart Pot, becoming thick and healthy instead of circling the inside of the pot and becoming root-bound. Air prunes the plant’s root structure.

I used Airpots in my first grow, Smartpots in my second. See the links in my sig for more info (and the thread linked above is great!).

If you check out that link I posted above you'll get 40 pages of advise/discussion about what you just bought.

thanks for the linkage FrankRizzo

these will provide a nice improvement for my situation without any of the mobility drawbacks,my 2x4x8 space means no room for pot moving and I won't be transplanting so no difficulty that can present
