hey there fellas, ive always tried to grow out mainly elites but this time around im sorta strapped for cash so a firend suggested trying this strain out for good yields and good smoke to try and get back on my feet. ive always been more of an advocate for quality over quantitiy but desperate times call for desperate measures :fsu:
so since im unable to locate the pog, i figured id look into if the flying dutchmen seeds were the real deal or if the yielder was a certain phenotype of this strain? i just dont want to have to sift through packs and packs of these beans to find the one keeper as i cant afford to buy a bunch of packs anyways, thanx for your help, and if any of you hav exp w/ this strain and how it preforms please lemme know, thanx

The POG clone at SR71 is a very high yeilder for sure (i think it even has a very good high and ok taiste) check out clowntown POG's. I think the POG from sr71 was selected from the flying dutchman as well.

POG = Golden Skush

I have grown Golden Skush and can guarantee you it was one of my all time bigger yielder IMO if you find a good pheno (most are very uniform and grow big anyway)

The bag appeal is awesome, the high is positive/skunky, the flavor being sweet and nice Indica dominant in the phenos I had (Gypsy Nirvana Golden Skush)
I liked it, but it wasn't the strongest I've smoked.

The right pheno, just like almost any strain, can be awesome. I've grown out POG from BPG and it was stellar. I've heard some say it can be an awesome yielder under the right conditions. I got my beans a few months back and look forward to growing them out and hunt for a keeper. Fragrance and flavor was fantastic.

I disagree, many are low yielders (size of flower spike) and you will never find a huge yielder in any pheno of their genetic makeup...

You're wrong...never say never...I've chatted with some who put POG on the top of their 'yielding' list...but maybe it was not POG they were growing???

the pog i grew yielded nicely and the potency was up there, definitely a good choice for a merch grow, 1 or 2 packs should do it...

Search here for a POG grow by a member named herbalizor. This guy squeezed several ounces out of each plant growing them in 15-gallon pots. Great photographer, too.

Theres a certain pheno for POG that is a HUGE yeilder but the regular POG aint bad anyways. I dont know how much money the seeds are but if you got to order and your looking for yeild and potency why not go with

Block head
ST#3
Lui
ak47(little more)

You should be able to get a oz a plant in SOG style setup with no veg time. turn out a table every 56 days or so.

I'm growing seedsmans version (seedsman is very close with flying dutchman). Don't know about yield yet but I know a bargain when I see it, costs around £15!

you can get golden skush through the boutique or just ask DG to put some up on the weekend specials, since they have been giving them away as freebies i'm sure she would no problem. I just bought a pack this way off the bay not too long ago ...$40

I never said the POG or Golden Skush were low yielders, you misunderstood bro. They are the same and all babies I sprouted were excellent yielders, big skunky dense nugs.

WHAT I was referring to was this post:

The right pheno, just like almost any strain, can be awesome.

I SAID I DISAGREE ANY STRAIN IS A HUGE YIELDER, ONLY 50% of strains are yielders, because, the rest are low yielding landrace varieties or hermis, hempy strains etc.
YOU WILL NEVER FIND A HUGE LOWRIDER YIELDER FOR EXAMPLE... CAMPRENDAY?

OK DUDE I HEAR YOU AND CONCEDE DEFEAT IF THIS IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AND APOLOGIZE IF I MISUNDERSTOOD. YES...SOME STRAINS/CROSSES ARE BOTTLENECKED DUE TO GENETICS AND TOTALLY AGREE. NORCAL ASKED IF POG WAS A GOOD YIELDER AND GUESS WE SHOULD HAVE DEFINED WHAT A 'GOOD' YIELDER IS.

sorry

Herbalizer yeilded 18-20 ounces from a pot of gold, under it's own 600w lamp in a ~70L bucket. I was then convinced to try this strain, picking up a clone of it several years ago... I still hold her today. Many strains have come and gone through my garden, but POG is permanent, consistant, bomb.
