I am exploring new genres of music, as a friend not too long ago turned me on to stuff like Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Tortoise.

From my exploring I've come across God Is An Astronaut, Explosions in the Sky, Jakob, Sigur Ros...

What are some really, really ace artists that I should check out? I think Jakob and Sigur Ros make some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever listened to. But I'm hungry for more.

If you're going to dabble in post-metal dont forget ISIS (try their Oceanic album first) and Russian Circles. I love that shit.

I really cant recommend any postrock however, as you've already listed everything in my collection.
