Posting pictures online from a smartphone? be careful

There are programs out there that will strip all the Metadata from you images, pictures from any device now a days should be run through one before posting. Many device will attached tracking information to your images. Better safe then sorry.

You have the option on some phones of turning the GPS recording thing off when you take pictures so as to not have a location attached to the pic.

Edit: Those of you who have sent your phone in for repairs should also check the data on your pics.... there are repair shops that input your personal data into the phone when they work on it... and that data can also end up in your pictures. Fun, eh?
