Here I have a JBD that was made in 2001. I got it off a friend some years ago and he originally bought it for a pretty penny. This is a classic piece that is beautiful, but at 2 and a half feet with no percs it kills the lungs so it doesn't get any love anymore.

Haha, I got a vape, not going to hit this bong no more! It is a nice piece to look at though.
Jerome Baker was raided back at the beginning of the Bush era and was shut down for a while. JBD is around now, but they are no where near the craftsmanship of their glory days. This is just a piece of stoner history. That is all. I guess it is worth something though. A dude that calls himself Jerome Baker offered me $700 for it. Not sure if it is really Jerome Baker himself, but he says it is. He is also willing to drive from Southern California up to Norcal to get it. Had another dude in San Diego offer me $700 as well and he would drive up to buy it. Dont know if I want to get rid of it, but I am in an apartment now and they have inspections every few months or so.

I have no idea man. Dude was just emailing me with his name as Jerome Baker. Could of been just a JBD enthusiast. It came up saying his name was "Jerome Baker" and the email address was JeromeBakerDesignsJBD. Maybe Jerome Baker is a nam de plum? hmmm

The new stuff is all production pieces. I believe it is the same dude, because I heard a thing about him blowing glass again and he also started a skateboard company.
its funny how much bong technology has increased in just a decade. It seems like this stuff would've been around in design premise since the 70s. Was it really that complicated to hammer a metal downstem flat at the end and drill holes in it?
I guess most great ideas seem simple and obvious after the fact.

Jerome baker is/was a made up name. Jason Harris is his real name. He lives on the big island now and promotes his new plastic bottled water that comes as fully functional bong minus the bowl. JBD the company got sold to another company, thats why there glass is whack. My first bong was a JBD.
can you give me a link to that watter bottle thing? that sounds interesting.
