so ive got like 2k im willing to spend on a really nice worked piece of glass. i was curious what you guys thought about what is the smoothest hitting style of perc (waffle, shower, slit, etc..) your favorite brand/blower, and anything else like that you want to add...

this ALWAYS turns into an argument.

heres my opinion anyway.

it depends on what your preferences are. if it were me, and i had that budget...theres only one option.

a full custom made by an artist that goes by the name of Ghost. his work is insane and i LOVE his style.

if a true custom piece isnt an option for you, let me suggest something by US Tubes. those things are built for use. they may not be the prettiest pieces, but they're all about functionality.

I like percs with lots of slits when I want it smooth; cerc perk, showerhead, inline, waffel. If I want it to chug real hard, go for a natural perc. I like the combination of the two, and made one just like that! A Natural Perk, to Up-line, Inverted 11 Slit Shower-head Diffuser. I would also take into consideration how much volume of smoke you want your piece to hold. Like do you want a big water tube with lots of smoke or a bubbler thats a little more manageable.

I have been playing around with diffrent styles of diffusion in my shop lately. This is what I came up with. The pull starts out chugging but ends up smooth as eggs when the water is in the top chamber peculating through the Inverted Shower-head. I just need to wrap the TI curve and its ready to do work.

for me Bob it isn't what your smoking it from so much as what you're smoking in it that counts.......


so I bought a $35.00 souvenir bong in NYC & stuffed it with over 3K worth of good weed in its first year of life. a friend tipped my tube over (I'll send him to your crib next) and it split right by the mouthpiece but is still quite usable. in fact it's seen over 5K worth of good green since the split.

with 2 grand to spend on glass I'd go with a costume made as well or I'd buy 8 of these 6 arm bubblers.My favorite piece I've ever had great smooth hit easy to clean.

And this Deppe bong is probably twice as much as the piece you linked.

I am just not the type person to drop 2k on a glass piece. I'm kind of old school though, IMO money is too hard to make to drop 2k on one piece.....I guess it's all about the value the consumer places on the item. People tell me my Jerome baker is worth 1500-2000, I paid 270 I think....

Now.... 2k in genetics. Done that many times over.

My opinion would be don't. I've already given my opinion on expensive glass earlier in the thread so I won't rehash it.

Other than that what you choose is a personal preference. Everyone has different ideas of how the optimal piece should hit.

The only thing I can say is think about cleaning. It would suck to get a 2k piece with a chunk of weed stuck permanently in an inaccessible perc.
